Anyone but Deshaun Watson under center next season could make the Dawg Pound ecstatic. Like the hatred is real for Watson, who has been abysmal since moving to Cleveland. Hell, they even cheered when Watson injured his ACL back in week 7. That gesture probably sums up what the Browns fans actually want—no more Watson. And maybe they will soon have their wish granted with a probable cherry on the top. Well, that could come in the form of Colorado’s star QB, Shedeur Sanders. His recent interest in the Browns could probably get them thinking. Is it really happening?

ESPN Cleveland shared a clip of Shedeur Sanders where he revealed the team whom he plays with in Madden. Like we all have our favorites, probably the team whom we support. But when a player like Sanders, who is poised to be picked high in this draft, reveals his favorite team, that is news. And with the Browns hovering over Sanders’ signature, he claimed that the Browns are the only team he uses in Madden.

None of the other teams have what the Browns possess, of course—in Madden, “I love how they move around, bro. I like the set-up.” Well, well, well, was that a tease from Sanders before the upcoming NFL combine and draft?

See, it could very well be a teaser about what’s coming in the next few weeks. There have already been reports that the Browns will be the first to schedule a meeting with Sanders for the upcoming NFL combine. Like Sanders himself confirmed that he would be in Cleveland first for his pre-draft circuit, “Browns. I have Browns, then the Giants. That’s the only two right now.” Here’s the thing: the Browns hold the No.2 overall, as for the Giants, they have No.3. Clearly, it’s Cleveland who has the upper hand on drafting Sanders.

Even Browns GM Andrew Barry spoke highly about the prospect of bringing Sanders to the fold, “Shedeur is a really impressive young man. He’s poised, he’s calm, he’s smart, and you can tell that he’s been raised by quite honestly a Hall of Fame dad.” No doubt there’s a chance Sanders can move to Cleveland. And if he does, it isn’t like he would be short of options on the offense. Yes, the Browns had a disastrous QB room. However, they do have running back Nick Chubb, TE David Njoku and receivers like Jerry Jeudy and Elijah Moore. So, let’s see what Sanders’ final verdict on whether he is really invested in the idea of playing for the Dawg Pound would be.

But upon his arrival, he could probably lose someone on the other side of the ball. Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson has made a pitch to land Browns 6-time Pro Bowler Myles Garrett.

Could Shedeur Sanders be the savior the Browns need, or just another false hope?

Myles Garrett receives an offer from the Vikings’ star receiver

The Browns are in a rebuild and could probably take some time to get competitive again. However, their star pass-rusher, Myles Garrett, doesn’t have any plans to play a role in that. All he wants is to win right now by joining a team that is competing for the Super Bowl. And which better team could he find than the Vikings, coming off a 14-win season?

Like if the Lions weren’t so dominant this season, then it would have the Vikings wearing the crown of the NFC North. And there’s also the fact they couldn’t go deeper into the playoffs. Getting shut down by the Rams in the NFC divisional round 27-9.

Maybe that’s why Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson wants a game-changer in his team who can push them deeper into the playoffs next season. “Myles, you know where to go, brother. We need about one, two extra-pieces, and you’ll fill in that piece. We need you.” See, the Vikings already had an incredible pass-rushing crop last season. They finished 4th in the league with 49 sacks. Jonathan Greenard (12) and Andrew Van Ginkel (11.5) lead the sack charts. And with the addition of Garrett, they could just get even better. Garrett is coming off another Pro Bowl season, racking up 14 sacks to his name.

So, he can clearly give the Vikings that edge to take over the Lions NFC North crown next season. And who knows, possibly punch a ticket to the Super Bowl. Like it would be a dream come true for Garrett, whose aim was always a Super Bowl, not a trip to Canton every season.
