Tyreek Hill just can’t stop catching strays. He’s challenged Micah Parsons, he’s challenged Usain Bolt, but matters became absurd when he said he challenged Noah Lyles to a 50-yard sprint, but nothing came of it. The claims of this self-declared Miami Dolphins speedster are always in question and this time, some CU Buffs players took a dig at him.
Any guesses who those Buffs are? Well, it’s none other than Shedeur Sanders and one of his favorite wide receivers Jimmy Horn Jr., who pitted some insane things together in a quest to find out who the fastest of the lot is. Check out the conversation that the Buffs QB and his WR had at the 2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders podcast.
In a segment of the show called “Game Time,” Sanders asked his teammates to rank 5 things in an order he saw fit. So, who, or rather “what” is up against Tyreek Hill? Well, what would you do if someone compares you to a “Fighter Jet, a Lamborghini, a Falcon, and a Cheetah?” Sanders and his receiver knew exactly where they wanted to put Tyreek Hill on the list.

The QB and his receiver took turns with their lists. While the competition is unfair because Hill can’t beat any of those things, it’s paramount to understand that it’s just for entertainment purposes. Anyways, Jimmy Horn Jr. didn’t hesitate to put Tyreek Hill at the fourth spot while ranking the fighter jet, the Lamborghini, and the Cheetah ahead of Tyreek Hill in that order. Unfortunately, the falcon got pulled from the sky and thrown under the bus as Horn Jr. ranked it dead last in the list.
But that’s not even the most disrespectful thing out of all this. Horn Jr. mentioned how the Miami Dolphins wideout “ain’t faster than no Falcon,” on the 2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders podcast. He put him there because he had no choice. While CU Buffs #5 was a bit generous with his ratings, Sanders ranked Tyreek Hill dead last in the list. His rankings? Fighter Jet, Falcon, Cheetah, Lambo and then Tyreek Hill.
The list was all fun and games and no one’s serious about it. But you know what people were serious about? The time when Tyreek Hill challenged the Olympic Gold Medalist to a 50-yard dash a couple of months ago. The beef got a little overblown in just a matter of days.
Tyreek Hill doesn’t know when to stop
What’s your perspective on:
Is Shedeur Sanders' challenge to Tyreek Hill a sign of confidence or pure disrespect?
Have an interesting take?
Yes, Hill challenging Usain Bolt was a bit much. People knew it was a joke. But they took the challenge to Noah Lyles very seriously. Lyles’ response to all this? “Tyreek is just chasing clout. Anytime somebody fast comes up, he says he wants to race them,” the track and field phenom mentioned earlier. But how did it start?

Apparently, Hill took to X and posted “Sign the contract and lock in that 50-yard race,” but kept modifying the semantics of the contract to maintain an upper hand against Lyles. However, Hill is explosive in the start and Noah Lyles plays a long game. If the race was, say, 100 or 200 meters, Noah Lyles would win, or so believed Shannon Sharpe and Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson.
However, Lyles saw through Hill’s shenanigans and pointed out how Hill has a habit of brazenly challenging people, saying, “If he really wanted to race people, he would’ve shown up like D.K. Metcalf. The man raced in the 60m this year in the Masters division.”

The challenge didn’t culminate. Hill didn’t race Noah Lyles, he didn’t race Usain Bolt and in hindsight, it just looks like the Miami Dolphins receiver was just trying to poke fun at Lyles and people took it seriously. Well, Hill has a funny side to him, and everyone should have known better when he invited iShowSpeed to a race, but didn’t go against him.
