“She Put Me on the Map”: Travis Kelce Throws a Subtle Jab at Critics Through a Viral TikTok Halloween Costume

The Kansas City Chiefs player and his rumored beau have been making headlines ever since their “swift” romance started on September 24. While everyone knows who the billionaire, singer-songwriter, and winner of 12 Grammy’s is, Travis Kelce doesn’t enjoy the same global fame. Before football fans get offended, we’re not saying this but a TikTok star whose video went viral enough to be reviewed by the Kelce brothers.

During the conversation, they also walked down memory lane and relived their good old days. Jason Kelce also revealed his passion for Reese’s bars over cups. And that didn’t sit well with the younger Kelce.

From just an athlete to international stardom

In the latest episode of New Heights Podcast, Travis and Jason Kelce played a TikTok video. In the video, a woman could be seen dressed up as a map, and a man impersonating Taylor Swift. The man then goes on to stick a picture of the head of Travis on the map. “She put me on the map,” Travis said. And he’s not just talking about literally being put on the map.

A certain former ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ star had posted a TikTok video stating that she didn’t know about Kelce at all and wondered who was the nobody that Swift was dating. Kelce’s comments on the podcast come as a not-so-subtle jab at critics like her and others who said that before Swift, they did not know about Kelce at all.

But the two brothers took it in stride, guffawing at the viral video. At the end of the video, the man dressed as Swift says, “He’s a well-known athlete!” trying to justify Kelce to anyone who could listen. And who knew Jason Kelce had a sweet tooth?

Since the episode was on Halloween Day, Jason Kelce dressed up as Aquaman. But clearly, Travis didn’t get the memo, as he showed up in regular clothes. While discussing Halloween candies, the two veered into the topic of how their father, Ed Kelce, would stock up on king-sexed boxes of Resee’s cups and Diet Pepsi whenever they went out on a long ride.

All through the podcast episode, the older Kelce kept munching sweets. When he said that he preferred Reese’s bar over the cups, the younger Kelce enlightened him by saying that the bar just had more peanut butter. Otherwise, the two were the same. Besides, Jason Kelce has reason to celebrate as the Eagles recently won against the Commanders. The Chiefs, however, were not so lucky and hopefully will tweak their strategy in Week 9.
