Kylie Kelce and Jason Kelce are going through a tough time. They bid goodbye to their cherished dog, Winnie. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Kylie opened up about the depth of her connection with Winnie. She also shared a series of photos that captured the spirit of their beloved Irish Wolfhound.

Reflecting on her lifelong admiration for the breed, Kylie Kelce reminisced, “When I was in high school I had a folder on my desktop labeled ‘Gods gift to earth.’ It was images of Irish Wolfhounds that I had collected from Google. I had fallen in love with the breed when I was a young and never let my fascination with them fade.”

She continued with a sense of awe at how Winn had surpassed even her childhood dreams, “It all lead me to Winnie and holy s**t did she live up to the hype. She was everything I had hoped for in a wolfie and more. I lost part of my soul today, but I know she is at peace. I love you, Winn. You will always be my first born child.”

Kylie Kelce’s tribute to Winn was touching. It also had snapshots capturing serene moments in the garden and cozy times on a blue and white blanket. Among the poignant images was one from Kylie’s wedding day, where she and Winnie shared a special glance. Back in 2019, the couple shared a photo of Winnie, who served as the flower girl during the ceremony.

Another tender photo posted by Kylie seemed to show Jason gently petting Winnie, a quiet moment of connection. Winnie was adopted by the Kelces in 2017 when she was four months old.

The Kelce’s have a separate Instagram account for their dogs. In addition to Winn, they have another dog. In 2018, Kylie and Jason Kelce, who are also parents of three, welcomed a second pup named Baloo. She called the two furry pals “majestic messes” in another 2020 post marking National Dog Day.

Jason and Kylie Kelce have been going through some significant changes in their life of late. Jason announced his retirement from the NFL less than two weeks ago bringing an end to a 13-year NFL career at Philadelphia Eagles.

Kylie’s announcement about Winnie also comes just two days after she was named one of Cabrini University’s final commencement speakers. Kylie Kelce is a Cabrini alumna – in 2017, she received a degree in communications and was a starter on the field hockey team all four years at the school.

Her post drew an outpouring of support, including from family and friends, with Jason Kelce’s brother Travis also commenting on the post.
