In the Netflix series “Quarterback,” the third episode focuses on Mahomes and his fellow NFL QBs Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota, following them both on the fields and beyond during the 2022 seasons. Hence, his revelation hinted that a new hairstyle may be on the cards soon, most likely this fall.

In a featured video, as Mahomes was seen working out with his trainer, Bobby Stroupe, he tried to take off his headband, but the Velcro somehow got entangled in his hair. It made him frustrated, as he remarked, “This is my last year with the hair.” “No, what are you talking about?” Stroupe retorted. “Hair’s gone next year,” Mahomes replied, further adding, “Going with different hair next year.”
