It’s time! Christmas – check! Ravens vs Texans – check! Chiefs vs Steelers – Check! Netflix – Check! Want something more? Beyoncé and Mariah Carey for Christmas Day’s half-time show – check! That’s one wild game day that every NFL fan wants to have during the holiday season, right? And don’t mind if I mention that the NFL fans are not the only ones excited about today’s games. Count Lamar Jackson in as well.

Here this out; the Ravens QB wants to watch Beyoncé during the halftime show. And can you blame him? But first things first, considering Jackson’s poor post-season record, it’s kinda not a piece of good news for the Ravens fans. And the former TE for the Cowboys, Shannon Sharpe, couldn’t agree more as he wants Jackson and the Ravens to stay focused for the game.

“With the money that he makes, I think he understands that he’s the leader of the team and the last thing you want is him out there and the whole team out there… let’s stay focused,” Sharpe stated. Well, Lamar, if you’re out there enjoying the Beyoncé show, then who’s gonna join the team meeting?

I’m pretty sure someone might say that the QB plays every week, and it’s not every day you see Beyoncé perform live. But that’s where Sharpe’s statement to stay focused comes into play. Let’s not forget, in six playoff appearances, the Baltimore QB got a 2-4 win-loss record. Just Saying!

Although it’s not pretty clear yet if Jackson was joking or serious about the matter. But one thing’s for sure—Sharpe is not happy with Jackson’s comments. And he has some advice for him and the Ravens: “You’re very close to be and getting to where you need to be. Because, at the end of the day, you want to be at the Super Bowl.”

Let’s talk Baltimore Ravens for a bit, shall we? Where are they now? Well, they thrashed the Pittsburgh Steelers last week who are currently ruling the AFC North division. With 10-5, no wonder, the Ravens are on a quest to lift the AFC North title. And to make it happen, they’ll need a win in Houston today against the AFC South champs.

Now comes the interesting part. Jackson is all set to enjoy the show of a lifetime – more of a half-time show. “No, because I’m going to go out there and watch. I’m going to go out there and watch, “ the QB responded when asked if he was bummed about missing Beyoncé’s show. “First time seeing Beyoncé perform, and it’s at our game – that’s dope. I’m going to go out and watch. Sorry (to coach John) Harbaugh, sorry. Sorry, fellas.”

Classic, huh? As it appears, Lamar Jackson is all set for multitasking. And what’s that? Well, it’s leading the team while enjoying the half-time show. Well, on the flip side, apart from the mega clash between the Ravens and Texans, it’s the superstar’s performance that is at its peak. And why not? Houston happens to be her hometown where she’s performing today.
