Remember Bo Nix’s NFL debut against the Seahawks? That game brought some of the inaccurate throws of the QB, in which he completed 26 of 42 attempts for 138 yards and two interceptions. However, head coach Sean Payton believed that Bo Nix was “accurate and sharp” in that game. But it seems, eventually with the game weeks, Payton is coming up with a different perspective now.
The Chargers went into action in Week 6 and returned with a win. However, for Sean Payton’s Broncos, this loss resulted in questions and accusations. On one hand, Bo Nix’s inaccurate throws were questioned, while, on the other hand, the coach took the first blame on himself. This happened when in a recent post-game presser, Sean Payton talked about his team’s recent loss, and said, “We did all the things you can’t do in a game like that.” Hence, while realizing the mistakes, he accepted that it has to start with himself.
In addition to that, the coach also recalled some of the mistakes of the team by saying, “We turned over twice from the first half that led to points. Then we started looking at time possession when they ran the ball better than we did, and we mustered up some offense late in the game.” Therefore, Sean Payton mentioned that the team needs to be better overall, especially offensively. And if we talk about the offense, how can someone leave Bo Nix’s role?

On Sunday, Denver QB “completed 19 of 33 of pass attempts for 216 yards, two touchdowns and an interception while rushing six times for 61 yards” in the game. But the Broncos’ loss to the Chargers 16-23, has brought a lot of questions on him.
Especially Nix’s inaccurate throws, which were recently questioned by the Broncos’ former linebacker.

Sean Payton’s QB weapon, Bo Nix, is inaccurate?
“He played well.” After winning against the Raiders last week, coach Sean Payton praised Bo Nix’s game, and said, “He used his feet, went through his progressions, threw the ball well, got it down the field, took the underneath throws. He handled the two-minute again.” However, on this recent loss, Payton decided to reply in a vague way, rather than directly blaming the QB. But that doesn’t mean the former Broncos LB will remain silent.
What’s your perspective on:
Is Sean Payton's self-blame a sign of leadership or just an excuse for the Broncos' failures?

In a recent episode of DNVR Broncos, ex-NFLer Todd Davis, said, “His [Bo Nix] throws are inaccurate…I don’t feel like he’s giving guys opportunity to run and catch. It either has got to be right on their body or it’s an accurate throw.” For instance, via Denver Post, while “facing a third-and-8, Nix threw down the field to Marvin Mims Jr.. However, the football was off target and tipped off the wide receiver’s outstretched hand before being intercepted by safety Elijah Molden.” Hence, this inaccuracy has raised questions about his game.
