Sean McVay has been an amazing coach for the Rams. But there’s a limit to everything. One cannot always stay on top of one’s game. There are ups and downs. That’s why a good team is important. It covers all faults when you make an error and enhances your chances when you do well. After losing the week 10 game 15-23 against the Dolphins, the Rams have fallen to third place in the NFC West with a 4-5 win-loss record.
The coach who took them to Super Bowl LVI wasn’t spared for his error in a critical decision that cost them the game. The week 10 game against the Dolphins was an exciting matchup. The Phins got ahead by 17-6 when the 3rd quarter ended. In the 4th quarter, the Rams had plenty of chances to come back. But the HC decided to use his kicker, Joshua Karty, to take a field goal on 3rd & 10 from the Phins 12 yards.
With 39 seconds remaining on the clock, there was no comeback. It happened during earlier critical moments as well. In the 4th quarter, before this field goal, Karty scored another field goal from Dolphins 4 yards with 6:31 remaining on the clock. That also puzzled everyone.

The FGs reduced the potential number of points they could have scored. The team lost by 8 points. Had they tried to go for touchdown only in these 2 chances, they would have easily gained 6 or 8 extra points. It would have been a different story. But the Rams lacked the spark from the start.
This year, the Golden State hasn’t pleased its fans. They were coming off a 3 game win streak, but the loss has again angered the fans.
Fans roast the head coach Sean McVay for his decision-making
After the loss, one of the youngest head coaches of the NFL and also, the youngest to win the Super Bowl, was not given the treatment he deserved. One fan was angry about the situation and wrote, “Who tf kicks a field goal on 3rd and 10 #nfl #seanmcvay“. One defeat doesn’t make him a bad coach. But the fans can’t see their team being trounced.
Another fan was curious about the mindset of the coach and wrote, “I still can’t really comprehend what Sean Mcvay just did there.” A fan didn’t hide what his 6th sense was telling him and mentioned, “Soak it all in this is probably Sean McVay’s last season. Just a gut feeling.”

If that happens, it would be a big setback for the Rams. He has been a magnificent coach with 5 playoff seasons out of the seven. Though some changes are needed, he has seen enough of such situations. One fan called him out while writing, “Sean Mcvay a b—-.”
