Are NFL refs blind, or just biased? Vikings robbed by a blatant missed call!

It’s games like Minnesota VikingsLA Rams that anger the fans a lot. What happened in the last two minutes of the game? The LA Rams started slow by Matthew Stafford and the gang managed to catch up in the second half and won the game 30-20. However, we cannot say that it was fair and square. It was a shocker for Sam Darnold!

Towards the end of the game, the Vikings found themselves in their own endzone. Sam Darnold had the ball and was trying to get rid of it. Then comes the outside linebacker, Byron Young, who grabbed Darnold’s face mask and put him down. There was no holding penalty called and the Rams forced a safety for two extra points.

The Vikings fans are players were not happy with the official blatantly ignoring the call. A ref was standing right behind Sam Darnold for crying out loud. What has the state of officiating become in the NFL? But that’s a topic for another day.

Darnold, who had a 240-yard, 2 TD game, couldn’t clutch in the end moment. Though there are no complaints about his performance tonight, the fans aren’t really chuffed about the referee ruining yet another game. Even Vikings WR Justin Jefferson threw his helmet away towards the end of the game.

Naturally, some people are fuming at what happened towards the end of the game and others are just trolling the refs.

It’s noteworthy to recall that Byron Murphy put his head in his hands, indicating that he knew he messed up, but the refs still let it slide. A fan pointed out the same when he said, It was blatant in real time and Byron Young putting his head in his hands thinking he’d be penalized was the cherry on top. These guys are awful and it’s every week.

Another person on X pointed out the same, obvious narrative about the holding call, saying, Even Byron Young knew it was a face mask. The only person that missed it was the official standing right there…”

Even TJ Watt chimed into the conversation and pointed out the officials’ inadequacies when he said, “Can’t see a facemask 3 feet in front of them, but we want refs to decide what is and isn’t a ‘hip drop’ tackle in real-time.😂😂

The Vikings have now slipped to 5-2 and their opponent, the Rams, still has a long way to go after improving to a 3-5 start. The Minnesota team will play the Colts on Sunday Night Football. As for the Rams, they will be headed to Seattle on the same day.
