QB Russell Wilson can take a sigh of relief. The Steelers’ loss against the Patriots 21-18 has given a decent chance to the Broncos. The AFC North Division’s loss gives a free pass to the Broncos in the playoff race. The Patriots’ score opened the floodgates as QB Bailey Zappe secured three back-to-back touchdowns and took 11 points lead in the first half itself.

Steelers’ 3-point defeat is also a result of the team’s QB’s mistakes many could have anticipated. The Steelers tried to push in the second half, but the Patriots kept their nerves in check and won the game by the end. This win means that the Broncos are now sitting just behind the Steelers in the AFC standings. One can deduce that the Steelers can probably kiss goodbye to the playoffs.
