After sharing heartwarming wishes on their marriage anniversary, the NFL player did not forget to express his gratitude to his personal quarterback coach, Jake Heaps.

Taking to his official IG handle, he shared a sneak peek of his “early morning” intense practice sessions with Heaps. Feeling overwhelmed at the moment, the nine-time Pro Bowl QB also cherished his over nine years of long acquaintanceship with his amazing QB coach. “Over nine years of working together! Grateful for the early mornings!” Wilson gushed in his caption.

In a move to revive his lagging NFL career, his thanks to his long-time mentor and friend have displayed their unique bond. In the latest video, the greatest dual-threat QB of all time could be seen practicing on the gridiron.

The Steelers QB was seen throwing the pigskin and directing the offense while standing across the goal line into the end zone. Nonetheless, the Super Bowl-winning QB is amping himself up for the upcoming season with the Steelers; his high spirits and great enthusiasm are visible in the latest post.

It is clear that Mr. Unlimited does not want to lose any chance this upcoming season, as he is improving himself exuberantly. Russell, 35, is moving forward with an optimistic mindset after two tumultuous seasons with the Denver Broncos.

This is not the first time the NFL veteran has celebrated his years-long association with Jake. Earlier, on his 33 birthday, he also caught attention for his nearly decade-long bond with him. On June 19, when Heaps took to his X handle to express his gratitude to his wife on his 33 birthday, Wilson’s heartwarming birthday wishes for his coach also won everyone’s hearts. “Happy Bday Jake! Enjoy 33!” the NFL QB wrote, while his coach replied to him with “grateful.”

This intense companionship has grabbed public attention many times before. Heaps and Wilson were also a part of the Seahawks practice squad, during the 2016 and 2017 terms. Even beyond football, they developed strong bonds, as Jake was appointed as the head coach and DOP for the Russell Wilson Passing Academy. In 2022, he also became Wilson’s personal coach in the Broncos. Hence, Russell has never failed to express gratitude to the “amazing” Jake Heaps.

In the latest post, the proud NFL husband expressed his deep love and regards to his singer wife, writing a touching note on his IG handle.

“Celebrating 8 years of God’s love & grace over us @Ciara! Since we met, you’ve been my strength in every trial. My joy in every moment. My peace in every prayer. God blessed me with the most incredible gift in you! I am so grateful for our journey together. Here’s to a lifetime more. I love you Mrs. Wilson to Heaven & back!” he wrote.

Since July 6, 2016, the couple has been enjoying each other’s company and are consistent supporters of each other. They also share three children: Sienna, Win, and Amora. Interestingly, Russell Wilson is also equally invested in parenting his stepson, Future, Ciara’s son from another relationship, displaying their strong bond.

Not only the NFL QB, but the “Goodies” singer also wished her husband with seven compliments on their 8 anniversary. “I love walking with you, talking with you, being in your arms, and doing everything with you!
