And amid all the buzz going on, the quarterback is busy making memories in his personal life! We aren’t certain whether Wilson will perform in the 2024 season or not but one thing is for sure, his family has got his back. Whether it’s vacationing together or cheering him on from the sidelines, the Wilson family always finds ways to show their love for the superstar quarterback.
And to speak volumes about their bond, the player’s family gave a little surprise to Russell on the gridiron! Russell Wilson is under hot water due to his calf injury
Undoubtedly, Russell Wilson is busy having a great time on the field. However, some conspiracy theories have been swirling around behind the scenes. The former football guard said, “It makes me think this is a convenient excuse because if Justin Fields was turning the ball over, I have a sneaking suspicion that Russell Wilson’s calf would be better than it is right now.” Moreover, he mentioned that every player gets hurt and even plays with those injuries. It might be possible the NFL passer rating leader’s injury might not be that serious. He even noted how there is no urgency to get the player back on the field!

Adding fuel to the fire, NFL insider Mike Florio is making speculations! He suspects Wilson might soon engage his PR machine if he continues to ride the bench. With Justin Fields leading the Steelers to a solid 2-0 start, it’s hard to justify benching him for Wilson, even if the veteran is ready to go. Wilson, known for his off-field media presence, could be angling for a trade if the situation doesn’t change.
Florio stated, “The challenge is keeping Russell Wilson from activating his personal media machine in the event that he knows he’s ready to go and he’s frustrated about not playing.” Given the uncertain footing of his career, Wilson definitely isn’t in a spot to be stirring up trouble. It just doesn’t seem to make sense right now!
On the other hand, the Broncos are still licking their wounds after cutting Wilson and absorbing a record-breaking $85 million dead cap hit. As whispers of a potential trade grow, Wilson’s next move—both on and off the field—will be one to watch closely. But for now, Russell Wilson is taking his time and busy spending a great time with his team and family!
