Taking to his Instagram profile, Wilson posted the story originally shared by Simeon Kelley Jr., depicting the Steelers on the fields during the match against the Jets. The first picture itself features Wilson in the midst, the GOAT who made a splendid comeback. Wilson reshared it, writing, “Time to Hunt,” in his story. The original post also mentions the caption, “5-2 AFC NORTH 202.”
According to the latest updates, Steeler’s victory over the Jets has brought them to a 5-2 record, as they rank second in the AFC North. They are trailing behind Baltimore Ravens who currently have a five-game winning streak, as the Ravens defeated Tampa Bay 41-31.

On the other hand, the Steelers currently are on a two-game winning streak, while the Bengals and Browns are trailing behind in the division. With Wilson’s “time to hunt” motivation, they are giving close competition to the Ravens to top the charts and clinch the Super Bowl.
In the next match, the Steelers will be facing the New York Giants at Acrisure Stadium, as scheduled for Tuesday, October 29, 2024. And, with Wilson’s historic debut, all eyes are set on bringing Pittsburgh back to Super Bowl contention.

With his debut 264 yards this season, Russell Wilson has now surpassed Earl Morrall’s 249-yard record that he had set back in 1957. Wilson took to complete 16 of 29 passes for 264 yards, along with two touchdown passes without any interceptions. And, hence he achieved a QB rating of 109.0. Not only this, he also went for a two-yard touchdown as he led the Steelers to score 37 points.

It was the first time since 1950 that any Steelers QB was able to score over 30 points in a debut. The debut was not an easy domain, as Russell Wilson missed the first six games due to a calf injury. Early in the game, he had just completed two of his first eight passes.

The crowd booed for him while cheering for Justin Fields. But finding his rhythm, he ended up completing 60% of his passes.
