Losing the final five regular season games, they faced a staggering wildcard loss against the Ravens, and they were eventually eliminated.

Currently, Wilson is a free agent, as he awaits the Steelers’ decision. The Steelers’ opponents for the 2025 season are now confirmed, as they will first face their AFC North Rivals. This time, the NFL has implemented a 17-game season, hence the Steelers will also play an additional home game. With the NFL’s global expansion, they will play an international game in Croke Park, Dublin. The specific date and the Steelers’ opponent will be announced in spring 2025.

Jeremy Fowler, an NFL insider, also echoed similar sentiments that Fields remains a more favorable option for Mike Tomlin.
