Russell Wilson is making the most of his off-season these days. It started with visiting the NBA All-Star Weekend, watching a couple of Wolfpack games live, and going to Mexico for Easter, and now the Steelers QB1 is there to support the Pittsburgh Penguins, who are going against the Boston Bruins right now. But Wilson isn’t the only one supporting the Penguins.
The Steeler Nation just took to X a couple of minutes ago and uploaded a star-studded photo. It is safe to say that the publicity for this game is in safe hands right now. By the looks of it, Wilson and his family are trying their best to be accepted by the city of Pittsburgh.

The Steeler Nation took to X and shared a rare moment in the Pittsburgh sports scene. The post on X was captioned, “Some big names at the Penguins game tonight 👀,” and it shows the Steelers QB, his wife Ciara, Buffalo Bills Safety Damar Hamlin, and former Steelers DE Brett Kiesel in the same photo. We also see former Steelers safety Troy Polamalu in the frame with the others.

Though Wilson is wearing a Steelers jersey, we can see Hamlin and Kiesel dressed up in Penguins jerseys as Ciara rocks a Wu-Tang sweatshirt. The Pittsburgh Penguins also shared the same picture on their X account and captioned it, “Pittsburgh Proud 💪.”
But that’s not all. It seems like Wilson also took Steelers guard Spencer Anderson along for the ride. He shared a story on Instagram in the wake of this game. He can be seen sitting next to Anderson and Ciara in the photo. Also, Spencer Anderson shared the same photo on his IG Stories. The match took place at the PPG Paints Arena and Wilson has been taking trips to the venue a lot lately.

A couple of weeks ago, Wilson took to PPG Paints Arena to watch the NC State Vs. Oakland game along with Steelers’ limited partner Thomas Tull. The Steelers QB is a former NC State player and took to PPG to fulfill nostalgia. To this day he bleeds Wolfpack!

Later, he took to IG and shared the story after NC State won the game against the Oakland team and captioned it, “Wolfpack!!!” It looks like the QB has a lot of visits lined up ahead as he’s in the off-season right now.
But the QB has been supporting Pittsburgh sports teams lately, case in point the Penguins. Whether this support will dwindle would only be visible a year from now as Wilson is set to take the reins of the Steelers this season.
