After two highly disappointing seasons with the Broncos, Wilson perhaps has the last chance to revive his lagging NFL career. However, before all that, Wilson is in a festive mood – celebrating a huge milestone with his wife Ciara Wilson!

On July 6, 2024, Wilson took to his X account to give Ciara a heartfelt tribute. The Steerlers’ QB, married the love of his life “8 years” ago today! Wilson posted a montage of many memorable moment throughout their journey. Thanking Ciara for her undying support for nearly a decade, Russell Wilson wrote, “Here’s to a lifetime more. I love you Mrs. Wilson to Heaven & back!”3

The duo reportedly met for the first time in March 2015. Just after a year of dating, Wilson and Ciara decided to tie the knot on July 6, 2016. The NFL power couple have three children together, Sienna, Win, and Amora. The 35-year-old has been through the wringer in his 12-year NFL career and the ‘How We Roll’ star stuck by her man through thick and thin. As Wilson gives his wife a shoutout, the 38-year-old is busy with her ‘Out of This World’ tour.

Ahead of the tour, Ciara revealed that she wouldn’t have to breastfeed her daughter Amora any longer and celebrated the occasion with a drink. She also took her children to Disneyland in Paris and seemingly had a blast! In the meantime, Ciara released the music video to her June 2024 collaboration with Hulvey, ‘Alter’ too. Not just that, the NFL wag took her career to the next level and signed with William Morris Endeavor (WME), which also represents Serena Williams. With her immense success, it looks like nobody is more proud than her husband!

Russell Wilson is over the moon with wife Ciara’s tour

Ciara Wilson is on the ‘Out of This World’ tour with Missy Elliott and the legendary rapper, Busta Rhymes. The very first show of the tour took place in Vancouver, British Colombia and it was a grand success! As his wife rocked the stage with her incredible performances, Russell Wilson couldn’t help but feel “proud”! In an Instagram story, the QB wrote, “Proud of you Baby! We love you so much! You’ve earned it!”

After the sold-out show in Vancouver, Ciara will now head to Seattle, Washington, and wrap it up on August 22 with a show in Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois on August 22. She will be back just in time as Russ gears up to face the Atlanta Falcons on September 7, 2024. After the minicamp with the Steelers, the former Seahawks star claimed he found the ‘fountain of youth.‘ With Justin Fields breathing down his neck, Wilson will be desperate to hit the ground running.

According to NFL analyst Rich Eisen, the Steelers set-up will suit Wilson much better than the Broncos and he may even lead the team to the Super Bowl! While the Ohio native is celebrating his 8th wedding anniversary, Russell Wilson is also keeping an eye on the upcoming season.
