What’s your favorite part about Christmas? Santa bringing you gifts, right? The month of December brings a different kind of vibe. It’s a season of giving. Speaking of which, star QB Russell Wilson turned into Santa this year for his Steelers crew.

The former Seahawks QB, Russell Wilson, has always been known for his kindness. And since it’s the season of giving, Russ decided to surprise his team. He teamed up with his wife, Ciara, to put together a lavish gift hamper for his teammates. He posted a story on Instagram, giving fans a sneak peek into what the hampers had. “For the big fellas. Grateful for the homies,” wrote Wilson as he posted on IG.

The QB gifted his offensive line a lavish package that screams luxury. The hamper includes a Louis Vuitton duffle bag and custom shoes. Talk about being thoughtful, and Russ might just give you some tips. Wilson had the LV bags customized in the iconic Steelers’ colors (black and yellow). Steelers players might be thinking about going on vacation after the season wraps up, and for that, Wilson included a $10,000 Airbnb gift card in the package. And, oh, how could he forget about drinks? Russ also gifted a bottle of rum from ‘Ten To One Rum,’ a brand that his wife and hip-hop star Ciara co-owns.

Wow, at this point, I wish I were on the Steelers‘ crew. A luxurious bag straight from the French fashion house and an Airbnb gift card that can be used anywhere in the world. I mean, it’s the best Christmas gift you could ever ask for.

While the Steelers might not get to spend Christmas at home with their families, since they’re gearing up to face the Chiefs, Russell Wilson’s gifts surely put a smile on their faces and lifted their spirits. Thanking his QB, Steelers offensive tackle Troy Fautanu posted a story on his Instagram, writing, “@dangerusswilson (goat emojis) Appreciate you big bro.” The Steelers too appreciated their QB’s gesture and posted a picture of the gifts on their official social media pages.

What’s your perspective on:

Are Russell Wilson's lavish gifts a game-changer for team morale or just holiday hype?

Have an interesting take?

Isn’t it so wholesome? The Steelers are all set to host the Chiefs on their home turf at Acrisure Stadium. We have two games lined up on festival day. First, the Chiefs vs. Steelers, and then we’ll witness an intense rivalry between Lamar Jackson’s Ravens and the Texans. The Texans have 9 wins in their column as of now, and they’re eyeing this win after taking a loss from the Chiefs last week.

As for the Chiefs and Steelers, they are both in the playoffs. But the Chiefs are now trying to secure the No. 1 seed. If they do, they will have the upper hand with home-field advantage. Mike Tomlin‘s squad needs to win this one to secure the division. If they don’t win and the Ravens do, they will dethrone the Steelers from the AFC North’s top spot. While we are enjoying the festival, these teams are dealing with the pressure of holding onto their spots. So buckle up, because two intense, action-packed games are soon going to be on your screens. Whoever wins, their fans will get another Christmas gift. But it won’t be as good as the one Russell Wilson gifted his O-line.
