The Philadelphia Eagles’ Tush Push move was the point of rage in today’s match between the Eagles and the Seattle Seahawks. After all the criticism surrounding the popular Eagles’ tush push move, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell was speculated to permanently ban the brotherly shove(Tush push) from the league. This move has been practiced by the Eagles for a long time, which ensured them an addition of yardage.

In the game against the Seahawks, the Eagles played their move, but the officials had a different approach toward it this time around. And the NFL fans are raging toward his response from the referees, questioning the judgment behind the call taken.

NFL journalist, Dov Kleiman shared a video on his Twitter account featuring a snippet from the game against the Eagles and the Seahawks. In the video, the Eagles’ center Jason Kelce was seen taking the position for the tush push move. However, the play was called a false start by the match officials. 

Reacting to the call, the NFL fans lost their calm and portrayed a bunch of emotions. One fan was astounded by the call and wrote, “Where?!!?!?!” Another fan added, “They are just looking to call anything on the tush push now. Doesn’t even have to be there” Adding to the storm, another fan wrote, “Goodell getting his phone to call the refs to effectively end this play.

One infuriated spectator targeted the refs by writing “NFL Refs are absolutely the worst!Highlighting the league’s speculation to ban the move, one fan wrote, “The league will do ANYTHING to stop the brotherly shove.” Last, but not least, one fan wrote, “I’m confused.” The Tush Push move received mixed reactions overall from the NFL world. However, in the recent turn of events, Goodell was speculated to ban the move.

Roger Goodell speculated to ban the “Tush Push” move

Following the players’ safety, the NFL is speculated to ban the Tush Push move. The Eagles’ popular tush push move, involves QB Jalen Hurts being pushed by his teammates from behind, which allows them extra yardage every time. However, the league may soon bid farewell to this move.

Earlier this month, a league meeting was held to discuss the players’ safety and the concern revolving around risky moves. NFL journalist Albert Breer shared an update on his Twitter account regarding the NFL meeting held to discuss the health and safety of the players. He further emphasized the Brotherly Shove will be on the health and safety agenda of the meeting. Following this meeting, strict action is anticipated from the NFL.
