After concluding her performance, the singer ran towards her beau to share a passionate kiss on the stage in front of her audience. By that time, it was clear the two were indeed like forever souls.

On an episode of their Dudes on Dudes podcast in October, Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman talked about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship. The clip which is going viral now, shows Gronk proposing a step ahead for their relationship. During their talk, Edelman said, “He’s (Kelce) a superstar and he’s dating Taylor Swift. And they might have a kid. That would be a great kid.” On this, Gronk immediately chimed in, saying, “They gotta have a kid. The kid would be performing: 8 catches a game and then doing the halftime show.” That’s a great idea for sure!

Well, it remains to be seen if the two really marry and have a kid like the one Rob Gronkowski hoped for. But we can’t deny the fact that probably in 24 years or sooner, as pointed out by the duo too, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s potential kid could be starting his footballing career early. Just like Swift did at 13 years, or as per Gronk, Alabama’s stud rookie receiver Ryan Williams did. The young player started his college career at the age of 17 and now, he is considered as the 2nd best returning wide receiver in the nation, per PFF.

Speculating on it, Gronk raved, “So, it would be like the new Ryan Williams, you know how he’s 17 years old at Alabama? So, their kid would be, like, 14 in college. They just surpass middle school because he’s so smart…..Dang, they need to have a kid if that’s the case. They gotta.”

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift arguably started dating in late August 2023. Since then, the pop icon has been attending his games, while also managing her Eras Tour, which ended in December 2024. As Kelce expressed his wish to be friends with Swift with a friendship band, many just laughed at the situation, thinking it might not happen. However, Gronkowski had a deep wish for the two, just like he has now!

Back in July 2023, many of the NFL fans were gushing over Travis Kelce’s revelation of trying to reach Taylor Swift with a friendship band. In a podcast, he expressed, “I think Travis is a very thoughtful guy, and if they started dating, that would be hands down the #1 Ken and Barbie in the NFL. No doubt about that. So, let’s hope that happens. That’d be really cool. Come on, Taylor. Let’s make it happen. Let’s go.”

That did happen! The dream came true, as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce broke the internet with their dating news in September that year. How can we forget the first public appearance of the singer at the Arrowhead? As soon as Swift was seen on the big screen, fans erupted in loud cheers for her. And when the Kansas City Chiefs TE took her for a ride after the game, fans knew that something was definitely going on between them. Gronk’s wish, like many of ours, really turned out to be true, as they became the power couple of the NFL. But Gronk is back once again to make a bold claim!

During an interview in February, Gronkowski said, “I think they are definitely headed down the aisle. I can’t tell you when, if it’s a year, two years, three years. They seem very happy together—very supportive.” Like many, Gronk is pretty sure the two are deep in love, and will soon marry each other. Be it a year, two, or three, he predicted, marriage is definitely on the cards.
