Sometimes fans cross the line without ever thinking they’re doing it. The love and passion for the game have no boundaries and there’s absolutely no limit to what fans can do to support their teams. Be it cheering for their favorites or distracting their rivals. NFL legend Rob Gronkowski stunned everyone with his admission about a recent fan incident that didn’t happen in the NFL. The tight end was talking about game 4 of the World Series between the Yankees and Dodgers on October 29.
Yankees’ second baseman Gleyber Torres made a shot in the first half and Dodgers star Mookie Betts ran toward his right and caught the ball by jumping. Amid this, two hardcore Yankees fans, Austin Capobainco, and John Peter, surprised him when they held his glove and tried to take out the ball. Everything was caught on camera and amazed the fans!
While talking about the incident on the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams, Rob Gronkowski made a revelation. He announced that the person who caught Betts’ glove was friends with him during college. He further revealed that Capobianco played for the ice hockey team, Arizona Wildcats, and added, “They were absolute maniacs. They were indescribable, how wild they were.”

In 2020, Gronkowski was in the Buccaneers with Tom Brady. Like the entire city, a 25-year-old girl named Myah Taylor was also in awe of the team. But her favorite was Rob Gronkowski. So when her boss, Job Levy, asked them to go to the celebratory boat parade, she was happy beyond measure.
Gordie Gronkowski (aka Papa Gronk) threw a ball toward her, which she caught. Her catch was so good that the Gronk family uploaded the video on their video channel. Levy was also impressed with her love for football and decided to get the football signed by the Super Bowl winner.
It turned out that Papa Gronk also studied at Syracuse University which was later discovered by Levy. So, he used his college contacts to get access to the tight end’s father and succeeded. But Rob Gronkowski surprised him when he decided to meet Taylor.

Together, they planned a secret meeting for the female fan. Levy brought her to a local gym on the pretext of a business meeting. When she saw the NFL legend there, she got emotional and said, “I will remember this day for the rest of my life.”
That is one of the reasons why the fans love him so much. The eldest Gronk is truly a treasure for football fans. What is your view on fan interactions and ‘interruptions’ in ongoing games? Drop your views in the comment section below!
