Kayla Nicole joining the Eagles—does this show the true spirit of sports unity in tough times?

In 2014, Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug took over the rap scene with their hot single, “Lifestyle.” Admit it, you found it catchy and mumbled along the song at some point. It was hard not to. Sadly, the Atlanta Rap scene staple passed away at the young age of 34. The tragic news has left many fans, athletes, and most importantly, Quan’s family, in a state of shock and dismay.

Quan shaped the sound of hip-hop in Atlanta and soon became a global sensation. Many came forward to pay their condolences to the deceased rapper. However, the Philadelphia Eagles took it one step further and paid tribute to Rich Homie Quan in the recent Green Bay Packers-Eagles game that happened in Brazil. The death has also taken over Kayla Nicole, who stood with the Eagles and showed love to the rapper.

Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, recently shared Complex’s Instagram post that shows the Philadelphia Eagles’ safety Reed Blankenship hitting the “Quan” after his nearly impossible interception of Jordan Love. Nicole shared the post and captioned her IG Story, “RIP QUAN [emoji],” as RHQs “Walk Thru” played in the background.

Complex’s post titled, “RIP Rich Homie Quan,” shows Blankenship dancing as his teammates joined in. The celebration came after he intercepted Jordan Love in the third quarter. It was a second and 11 in the third quarter when the Packers QB attempted a deep throw in the middle of the field and Reed Blankenship saw it coming from a mile away.

Love’s pass was intended for tight end Luke Musgrave, who already had a defender on his tail. Blankenship saw this as a perfect opportunity to tip the tides in the Eagles’ favor. The Packers were leading 26-24 when everything suddenly changed and like a domino effect, their downfall started. The Green Bay team lost 34-29 to the Eagles and the game left Jordan Love debilitated.

But coming back to the story of Rich Homie Quan, Kayla Nicole and the Eagles weren’t the only ones to pay their respects to the musician.

She didn’t waste much time in calling 911 and reporting that the rapper was “foaming at the mouth.” 911 operator guided Quan’s girlfriend, Amber Williams, to help the rapper breathe. The Paramedics arrived shortly after and declared that the rapper had passed away.
