The widely popular Dragon Ball series, known for its comics, cartoons, and movies, was created by a Japanese manga artist. According to recent news, the creator of Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyama, died at the age of 68. Remembering his love for the series, Slay paid tribute to the creator.

The Eagles CB Darius Slay showed his love and tribute to one of his favorite anime series creators, Akira Toriyama, who reportedly died on March 1. Slay retweeted a post of “Culture Crave,” a movie insider’s X account, with a caption: “😢🙏🏾” The post featured a vintage picture of Toriyama along with the Dragon Ball logo.

Slay’s love for the anime series is evident, as there were rumored instances of him featuring Piccolo and Gohan (fictional characters from Dragon Ball) on a pair of cleats in the past. Toriyama was reportedly diagnosed with an acute subdural hematoma, which is a form of bleeding near the brain.

This news prompted Slay to express his gratitude and tribute to the Dragon Ball creator, and fans have joined him in mourning.

Childhood nostalgia shattered with the loss!

Akira Toriyama once called his Dragon Ball work a “miracle.” Fans now remember this miracle and pay tribute to the creator in their ways. After Darius Slay’s post on Toriyama, many of his followers joined him in his tribute, with one fan writing, “Had a worldwide impact RIP to a legend.

Someone found themselves in nostalgia, saying, “That one hurts. DBZ had been a huge part of my childhood and I loved it to this day.”

Another one chimed in, “My childhood right here.”

Another Dragon Ball fan called Toriyama, “The 🐐

Apart from these individuals, many others expressed their condolences to the legendary creator with “RIP” comments. It has been reported that Toriyama had some unfinished work at the time of his passing. His studio said, “He would have many more things to achieve.”
