On Monday, July 8, Patrick Mahomes’ mother, Randi Mahomes tried to cook popcorn for her. And eventually, she faced the lingering household battle–the burnt popcorn smell. As usual, this time again she shared about it with her followers on her official X account. Complaining about the popcorn issue, Randi reached out to her followers, “Burnt popcorn will linger forever. Over this household smell today. Tried candles, sprays but nothing is working.” Her followers eagerly shared their tips and advice on the issue.

One commented, “The particles cling to fabrics and upholstery and carpets. So just replace all the upholstery and carpets and burn your clothes and it’ll go away!” Someone else suggested, “Try a match over the area. Just be careful not to light anything on fire.” Likewise, another one advised, “Light several matches. But don’t just blow them out…dip them in water to terminate the flame. The leftover smell will help.” Besides them, many others too flooded with their suggestions to help Randi.

Hope now momma Mahomes can find a perfect solution for her “burnt popcorn smell.” That could be easy for her too, as being a strong single mother, she has already overcome some seriously tough battles in her life.

She shared that while Patrick is living his dream in the league, the last seven years have been the hardest of her life due to the constant scrutiny and hate they received. The 52-year-old said, “I look at some of my friends on social media and I’m jealous that they have this normal [life]. Their kids are the same age as Patrick and Jackson, and they have this normal situation and we don’t. It’s super difficult.” She continued, “As much as I say we’re blessed and Patrick’s living his dream, it has been the hardest seven years of my adult life. It’s been really hard to juggle…being proud of him and the hate that you get and the kids get. I can’t even explain how hard it’s been. I’ve cried a lot. I struggle with it.

However, with God’s blessings and her courage to move forward, Randi has been successfully overcoming every struggle she is facing. More power to you, Randi!
