Fourthly, one reason suggests Harbaugh still remembers his route. An alumnus of the Wolverines and an ex-Bears, the robust HC dreams of serving both sides for once in his life. And he still feels the love at Chicago he had during his playing time. But during the short period, the QB’s leadership and likeability made him a fan favorite, which both parties adore to this day.

Then-head coach Dave Wannstedt traded Harbaugh to the Colts in 1993, to bring in a QB with a stronger arm and superior game sense. He would go on to win the Super Bowl with the new side in the 1995 campaign. Harbaugh made his first Pro Bowl and led the NFL in passer rating that year. But despite the success later, Harbaugh forever remembered the beginning of his NFL journey with the Bears.
