Are you waiting for Aaron Rodgers to decide which team he wants to play for? Well, here’s the latest update for you! And if you’re picturing Rodgers in a Vikings jersey—hold on just a bit. The four-time MVP is reportedly interested in Minnesota, but Kevin O’Connell’s organization hasn’t given a clear response yet. And guess what? That’s not the whole story! The Giants and Steelers are still in the conversation, showing interest in the 41-year-old QB to spice things up. But where is all this chatter leading? More importantly, how long is Rodgers going to take before making a firm decision on his next franchise?

Just a day ago, reports suggested Rodgers was solely focused on the Vikings and would retire if things didn’t work out. But now, the latest update from ML Football paints a different picture: “Free agent 4x #NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers could wait until after the draft to make his decision, per NFL Network. Rodgers is reportedly in no rush. The #Giants and #Steelers are interested, and he still likes the #Vikings.” To add to the suspense, insiders on X have confirmed that the wait for Rodgers’ decision will continue.

Meanwhile, NFL insider Adam Schefter recently weighed in on the saga, and let’s just say—he’s not thrilled about the delay. Schefter seemed frustrated with Rodgers’ indecision, saying: “I think the primary options are the Steelers and the Giants, and then does he even want to play—before we even get to Minnesota? I think people have come to the conclusion that he wants to play, but to me, this shouldn’t be that hard, right?” He didn’t stop there, adding: “It’s not that hard. Make the decision and live with it, right? You’re never gonna be perfect.” It’s actually surprising how much excitement A-Rod is stretching up. But it’s sad to see franchises are suffering for him.

Fans would understand Aaron Rodgers’ dilemma in waiting for the Vikings while keeping the Steelers and Giants waiting, but hardly any fan would accept the length of time Aaron Rodgers is taking. And it’s not only Aaron Rodgers who is suffering from the lack of firm decisions. It’s also difficult for the Steelers organization.

Steelers suffer as Aaron Rodgers waits for the Vikings

In the current circumstances, Aaron Rodgers’ career move is looking like a seesaw where another person’s move would decide yours. The Steelers are in a similar situation with the former Jets QB. And hold on, there are not only two variables but more. Since the Vikings decided to move on from Sam Darnold, the rumors of Aaron joining the Minnesota team piled up. But according to Adam Schefter, the picture is different.

The reporter said, “I’m not including Minnesota in the Aaron Rodgers conversation ’til I have some evidence that that’s something we need to take realistically.” Reportedly, there is no concrete evidence the Vikings are interested in the 41-year-old four-time MVP. And in the middle of all this Rodgers-Vikings saga, Mike Tomlin’s organization suffered to some extent.
