Go hard or go home! The 2024 NFL season is in its crucial phase now. The time has come when all the teams must perform like it’s their last day. One mistake, and you’re finished. Some teams, like the Chiefs and the Lions, have already reached the playoffs, while others, like the Commanders, Steelers, and Colts, are still fighting for a shot. Ahead of this fight in Week 13, Colts RB Jonathan Taylor has a message for his guys as they prepare to face the New England Patriots.
The Patriots are out of the playoff race, but what if they pull off something like the Cowboys? They could mess up other teams’ chances of making the playoffs. As the fans get ready to head to Gillette Stadium today, you have no idea how much pressure the Colts are under. RB Jonathan Taylor has that idea. He also has some tips for his squad for the game ahead.
It’s just another game of the season for the Patriots at this point. While people at the stadium get their drinks and snacks ready, the Colts LB gets his guys ready. “Just understand what we’re fighting for. So keep that vision in your mind “, says Jonathan.

The Colts RB has a few notes for himself too. Although the Patriots have been disappointing this season, Jonathan is well aware of their tough, hard-hitting style of play. So, he knows they need to have the upper hand at the line of scrimmage. Looks like there’s a lot of work for the offensive line today. “ I think we got to establish the line of scrimmage. We know it’s a physical unit up front. They take pride in that,” added the 25-year-old.
The Colts last played against the Lions and lost badly (6-24), while the Patriots lost to Mike McDaniel‘s Dolphins (34-15). Both teams are facing off against each other after almost a year. The last time they played, the Colts won 10-6. But can this win pave the way to playoffs for the Indianapolis team?

Do Jonathan Taylor and the Colts still have a shot at the playoffs?
What are the odds of the Colts making it to the playoffs with only 5 wins so far? The chances are very low, especially after their recent loss vs Lions, but they can still make it. They are in second place in their division with a 5-7 record. But they are much lower in the overall AFC playoff picture. So, the chances are like, ‘If that team loses, and we win this game,’ then maybe they might reach the playoffs—quite tough. And the Dolphins are on the same level. If they win the rest of their games, they might get the ticket instead of the Colts.
Now, even if they make sure to win the remaining games, what’s the guarantee that the others in the race will lose theirs? That’s quite a situation Jonathan Taylor and his squad are in. It mostly looks like a luck situation here, instead of just playing strong and getting the reward. But the RB has full confidence in his guys. “ I have the utmost confidence that we’ll be able to get it done,” he clarified prior to the game. Taylor’s looking at the positive side for sure!
