Zay Flowers lost his mom at a very young age and it can be assumed how hard it would have been for him growing up. Recently, the WR told everyone how he misses his mother as there was a special occasion. Flowers uploaded an Instagram story in her memory, as it has been 19 years since she was gone. The IG story was so sweet that there was an outpouring of love and condolences for the WR on the internet.

The Instagram story featured Flowers’ mother, where she can be seen smiling really hard. He uploaded the photo to wish her a happy birthday and express how much he missed her. Zay Flowers even wrote a lovely message mentioning how his mother would have been overjoyed if she could see what her son was doing right now. The caption read, “Happy Birthday Ma, know you and Marty watching over us. Know you would be proud of ya boy, Love You”

This was a sad moment, but it also piqued viewers’ interest in what happened to the WR’s mother. Many of you may be unaware of Zay Flowers’ tragic loss at a young age. When the WR was five years old, his mother unfortunately fell while walking in a park and injured her head on a shattered fence- that got damaged in a recent hurricane where she hit her head pretty hard. The WR claims that she was actually talking and going backwards, which is why she never saw it coming.

It was a sad loss for the family, and even after 19 years, they miss her and wish she could be there to witness them all grow up. Following the event, the Flowers family was only held together by one man, Willie Flowers.

Willie Flowers took every responsibility after the horrific occurrence and was determined to raise all of his children on his own. The guy raised his ten sons and four daughters with a great upbringing. He was the ideal example for all 14 siblings to follow since he was patient, diligent, and full of perseverance.

Zay Flowers admired his father for being a strong guy in such a difficult situation. Willie Flowers, on the other hand, has claimed that he is delighted that one of his children has become such a big player. However, the man’s dream does not end as he recently stated how he wanted their mother to watch it.

“Losing his mom was a rough time for all of us. Kids need their mother,” Willie said. “I was really pissed at God for a while, feeling like it had to be a mistake. I stopped talking to God, but I’m glad he kept talking to me, and I came out of it.”
