Do any Ravens fans remember how hard it is emotionally to rewind the calendar to January when Lamar Jackson and Co. went head-to-head against the Bills? Don’t know if it was Mark Andrews or not, but the Ravens lost another season in the championship. The fans can’t just forget how Lamar was locked in, and there was no stone left unturned by John Harbaugh‘s team. But the team stands up with new hope; the Ravens are winners. Thus, the Ravens look to add a Super Bowl champ to get to that level of bouncing back.
The reports suggest the Ravens are adding the 36-year-old beast who was a part of the Super Bowl 50 Champions and SB LVI Champions team. Yeah, we are talking about Von Miller, who played his previous three seasons with the Buffalo Bills and was a dedicated Broncos linebacker.
Bleacher Report’s Knox wrote, “Baltimore is obviously open to adding older players to help chase a championship in 2025—it added 32-year-old receiver DeAndre Hopkins early in free agency—and Miller could be an asset. He logged six sacks while playing just 33 percent of the defensive snaps in Buffalo last season.”

Miller, who has missed 15 games in the last three seasons, may get added to the Ravens, even though he has missed 15 games in the past three seasons, which has hampered his stats.

Let’s check out Von Miller’s performance last season and over the years. Miller made a total of 13 tackles in the 2024 season. Though his number of tackles may look slim, Miller has sacked five QBs in the 2024 season. But you know, his best season was 2016, when he showed his real worth.
In that season, Lamar Jackson’s potential teammate, Miller, played 16 games. He made a staggering 78 total tackles, out of which 62 were solo and 16 were assists. And that’s not the end, as he also sacked 13.5 quarterbacks. In terms of sacks, Miller sacked 18.5 QBs in the 2nd year in the league. So, if Lamar’s team could add this horse to their stable, it’s gonna be difficult for the opponents.
Currently, Von is a free agent. The Bills released him this year. His contract with the Bills was till 2027, worth $120,000,000 with an average annual salary of $20,000,000. Due to his inactive status, his cap hit is not available. But it is no rocket science that the Ravens would match his average salary if they are interested.
But while the Ravens are interested in Von Miller, what he has said about the Broncos was shocking. And there are a lot of chances that Lamar Jackson could lose the edge rusher to the Broncos.

To elaborate his take, Miller actually said, “I’ve always loved blue and orange… You just have to see it. It’s a fun time right now for me and my career. You just have to wait and see; take it one day at a time.” Well, that team could be the Broncos. But there is a sigh of relief for the Ravens.

According to Cordy Roark of Mile High Sports, “The only way a Von and Broncos return would be possible is if Miller is willing to accept coming off the bench as a role player, which wouldn’t be a bad thing at this point of his career.”
So, Lamar Jackson’s Ravens are on the plus side to sign the great Broncos LB. Let’s see how that goes.
