Patrick Mahomes‘ mother, Randi, has always been a Donald Trump supporter. The mother of the Chiefs’ #1QB, is rooting for four more years of Donald Trump. However, one of the ways that Mama Mahomes made it clear was when she posted an anti-Biden rant on her Instagram. Shading Biden and his supporters asking questions about the gas prices. 

Now, she is back in the news because of her political views. After Former U.S. President Donald Trump and Kamala Harris engaged in their presidential debate on September 10, 2024, Randi Mahomes posted, “🙏🙏🙏🙏.” However, this time she did not take a side, but made fans fully aware that she was spiritually following the election.

This debate lasted for 90 minutes, where Kamala Harris asked Trump questions about his economic policy; his denial of losing the 2020 election; and even his performance at his rallies. Trump, who was cooler, talked about the conspiracy theories related to migration, the increase in crime, and voting in the combative showdown when Biden was president.  

However, when it came to the economy, mama Mahomes never liked Joe Biden or Kamala Harris. She posted on Instagram, “Hey all gas is $1.52, get it while you can!! Won’t be like this long. You are welcome to delete me. I am trying to get my numbers down of idiots,” and also attacked all Biden supporters, saying they were free to delete/block her as she was looking forward to getting rid of her increasing number of “idiot” followers.

But Randi Mahomes isn’t the only one making headlines. Her daughter-in-law recently voiced her support for Donald Trump, and that earned her a lot of backlash.

Does Patrick Mahomes’ Family Fully Support Donald Trump?

The controversy started when fans saw that Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany liked a post on Trump’s Instagram that detailed the ‘2024 GOP Platform,’ which included hot-button issues like deportation and keeping “men out of women’s sports.” That ignited a social media wildfire. Many critics, including Taylor Swift fans, who followed Brittany after Swift and Travis Kelce started dating, got furious with Brittany.

While Randi Mahomes and her daughter-in-law have made their choice for a presidential candidate clear, the preference of her son remains hazy. Patrick never overtly showed support for either Biden or Trump. However, Mahomes was vocal about the NFL’s stance towards kneeling during the national anthem. The quarterback said repeatedly that players should use their platform to bring awareness to social injustice issues in the country, and not for political views.
