Single but strong! Randi Mahomes is the epitome of strength and the biggest cheerleader of the Mahomes family. She was the one who helped Patrick Mahomes to opt for his football career when his father didn’t want to.

Randi and Patrick Mahomes Sr.’s married life took a toll in 2006, leading to their divorce. Despite being a single mother to her two sons, Randi didn’t hesitate to overcome every challenge in front of her. But what does she do for a living? In a latest Instagram video post, Patrick Mahomes’ mother, Randi Mahomes, gave her followers a look at her Holly Tree Country Club, where she works as an event planner. The video began with Randi greeting the viewers at the entry gate with a smile before giving them a tour of the club’s dining hall, her office’s personal cabin, and the open event space of her club. She informed her fans that she has been working here for 18 years. The video started off with her voiceover, mentioning her journey and struggles throughout. She said, “Come with me as I share a little bit more about me that not everyone seems to know I work at Hollytree Country Club as an event planner. And I’ve been here for 18 years and I was blessed to get a job. I was getting divorced and I just needed some foundation.”

She continued, “I’ve made like the best dearest friends here and it helped me get on my feet. And I really, really difficult time. And hold my head up, it’s made me into a independent woman because I wasn’t before. And so working here has that is giving me that and my reason as a mom because I was a single mom at the time. And so working here, it’s got me out of some really dark times where I needed a foundation for my family. And so it’s been a blessing and so many ways.

Momma Randi also shared a long caption saying, “Some people don’t know this about me… but I work as an event planner at Holly Tree Country Club! Behind every person is a journey filled with unexpected paths and moments of growth.” She further added, “This job for me isn’t just about coordinating events—it’s about independence, resilience, and setting an example of hard work and discipline for my kids. Here’s to embracing every aspect of our journey and finding strength in the unexpected.” Randi shared this video with a song – “Mulberry Mouse” by Alan Gogoll.

It’s true that Randi’s life wasn’t that easy. Especially after divorce from her ex-husband, she had enough on her plate, including bringing up her children alone.

Randi Mahomes was forced to “grow up”

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ mother Randi Mahomes, once reflected on her journey raising her son Patrick, in an interview ahead of his fourth Super Bowl appearance. Randi informed that she became a mom at a young age and feels grateful for the impact it had on her life, saying it made her grow up. Randi shared her experiences of feeling lost before learning she was pregnant with Patrick at age 20.

She acknowledged that having Patrick changed her life completely. Randi expressed, “I had someone that needed me. And so, for forever, he was my little best friend. We were together 24/7, and I learned with him.” She further added praising Patrick, “He made me grow up in a good way, in a great way. Being a mother is my favorite thing sometimes, and sometimes it’s hard, but it is my favorite thing, and I always say, ‘Where would I be without it?

Despite initial concerns about the age gap between her three children (Patrick born in 1995, Jackson in 2000 and Mia in 2011), Randi cherishes the special relationships they have built with each other.
