Randi Mahomes Makes Bittersweet Admission Before Asking Patrick Mahomes to Call Her

We all know that Patrick Mahomes loves to play golf. In fact, Mahomes and Travis Kelce participated in the American Century Championship in 2023 for the fourth consecutive year. But how does the Chiefs QB practice for it? Well, that’s where his mother has played a big role.

The mother of the 3x Super Bowl champ went on KENS5: Your San Antonio News Source and spoke about her oldest son. While she didn’t hold back on praises, there is something funny that Randi pointed out about Mahomes. The reporter asked Randi, “What’s the funniest thing that he [Patrick Mahomes] still calls on you for?”

She instantly shared a bittersweet story that she had in mind. “Yes, he called on me for golf. Up until a year ago he would call and be like ‘Hey mom, can you see if they can get me on,’ and he doesn’t like to use his name or you know, or whoever call for him.”

But it’s not like the Kansas City Chiefs star can’t make a few calls of his own to make things happen. It was more along the lines of making his mom feel better. “I was like, that was something I needed as a mom. To pick up and need me for something,” clarified Randi Mahomes. And that’s when the interviewer stated, “Patrick, call your mom.” And Randi’s agreement to this statement cannot be missed.

Patrick Mahomes obviously has a tough schedule and it might get a bit difficult for him to schedule his golf practice sessions. So what did he do? Well, last year, the construction of his dream house was completed in Cass County, Missouri. The house comes with a 50-yard football field, a backyard pool deck, a man-made pond, and Mahomes’ very own par-3 golf hole. Is this the reason Randi hasn’t been receiving as many calls from Mahomes lately? Only Randi and Patrick Mahomes can shed light on that.

While her QB son might get lost in a hectic work schedule and communication might be sparse from time to time, Randi’s other two kids serve as a reminder that she has a lot more to look forward to. Her life as a mother extends far beyond the Chiefs star QB.

Patrick Mahomes’ brother expressed heartfelt wishes to his mother

Patrick’s younger brother took to Instagram to appreciate his mother and shared a throwback photo that got a lot of imprints. Jackson captioned the post, “Happy Mother’s Day! 🖤.” The message was simple, but it was effective and encapsulating enough to get Randi Mahomes’ attention. She replied in the comment section with “I love you ❤️.”

The photo shows the mother holding a young Jackson Mahomes as Patrick Mahomes stood there smiling. We can see the brothers dressed in identical outfits- a yellow polo shirt and white shorts. The mother looked as happy as ever as ever.

Further, Mia, Randi’s youngest child, shared pictures of them together on Instagram. While the mother of three basked in the admiration of her children, she did not forget about Brittany Mahomes on Mother’s Day. Patrick Mahomes’s mother took to Instagram to celebrate all mothers, including Brittany.
