“It’s not called Chiefs Kingdom for nothing…” That was one of the comments under Randi Mahomes’ X post ahead of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs‘ game against the Browns in Cleveland. Now, ‘why are the two linked?’ Oh, that’s the fun part (and the main part).
Randi posted: “Delayed at airport in NYC and I overhear someone ask their friend “Why are there so many Chiefs fans here??” Lol, just had to smile a little!!!” Ah, if it was JFK, then maybe, just maybe, she might need a Hail Mary effort to make it to Cleveland in time (if that’s the plan).
And that’s what one suggestion read as they indicated Randi to parachute in. Not a bad idea, huh? But it might have been because of the weather. The Huntington Bank Field is soaking wet. So, maybe not… But what was she doing in NYC? LIVING as the matriarch of Mahomes family, vibes!

Yeah, that too. But she was there with her younger son, Jackson Mahomes. And guess what? She managed to get one item chalked off from her bucket list: to attend a live taping of NBC’s SNL (Saturday Night Live). She shared their NYC adventure on social media, and to call it a post would be an understatement. It wasn’t short of any reel… from a picturesque ferry ride to the Manhattan city life!
Those posts radiated joy, but most importantly an essence of a tight-knit bond that can be forgotten…or lost …in today’s rush life. But Randi is the epitome of ‘How to keep your family on top of your priority list!’ I mean, after all that, she’s heckling to get to her son’s game. And even if she is not (since didn’t mention it). You know if Mahomian is a Pat fan club, then Randi is like crème de la crème.
Can a wounded Browns team find a way to trouble Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs?
Straightforward answer? No, they cannot. Like Randi Mahomes wanted to pass a ‘smile’ after hearing about the expansion of the Kingdom. We want to break it to you that the Chiefs might just have the winning mentality here. Patrick Mahomes said this soon after lifting the SB LVIII: “All you can do is come back next year with a fresh mindset knowing it’s going to be even harder. We got to continue to play our best football.”

Mind you, he was drenched in his own sweat. Watching the cries of celebration after winning it back-to-back and still managed to think about February 9th, 2025. And boy, the Chiefs are not cooking, but they are winning. The latter is enough (punched their playoff ticket with a 12-1 record). That is the champion mentality. Whenever Pat has said, “Chiefs on 3…” before every single game, not a single one has NOT said it because that’s them. A unit. ONE. WHOLE.
So, for the Browns who are 3-10, dead and out, facing such a side is no joke. But one thing that Cleveland can find hope in? The Chiefs are not scoring like the Chiefs are known to put up on the scoreboard. That’s it… That’s all they can cling onto right now. Now, while KC is scraping out Ws, they are still doing so, and that’s the scariest part (Ask LA what’s up after the 19-17 loss last week).
They are not at their peak… Their #15? Far from it. Mahomes has 20 TDs for 11 INTs in 13 games so far, and that’s not HIM. But if they can get the dubs now, imagine what are they going to cook… or rather how they’d cook in the postseason. However, those are all: ifs, buts, and maybes… And another maybe is the Browns pulling a shocker. That’d be a script, now. Wouldn’t it?

The Dog Pound has nothing to lose but to bark off on a high, and think about the next. So, they might have a miracle (like literally as Mahomes is 2-0 against them, yikes!) up their sleeves. As for the Chiefsdom. The only thing they’d be hoping for is not-so nervy games before the playoffs.
