Davis Allen is now officially an NFL star! Backing up the team’s decision to draft a 5th-round pick, the Los Angeles Rams’ rookie tight end just scored the first touchdown of his NFL career against the Baltimore Ravens. This was just two weeks after he caught his first pass against the Cardinals.
While at Clemson University, in four seasons, Allen hauled in 88 receptions for 951 yards and 12 touchdowns. He had his best year in 2022, coming down with 39 catches for 443 yards and five scores. And reigniting that mojo in the big leagues, Allen displayed his football prowess and how!

Davis Allen’s Journey from Fifth Round to End Zone
Davis Allen, in his NFL rookie debut, hit the end zone for the first time, unleashing his Clemson magic on a second-quarter screenplay. QB Matthew Stafford delivered a precision 7-yard pass, and just like that, Allen’s in the books! After a four-year stint at Clemson, he got the call from Los Angeles in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL draft.
Before Sunday’s showdown with Baltimore, Allen’s stat line read a modest one catch for six yards this season. Fast forward to overtime, and Allen’s on fire with four catches for 50 yards, not to mention that sweet touchdown.
