When Justin Herbert handed the reins to Easton Stick in the second quarter on Sunday. Stick stepped up like a seasoned playmaker. The fifth-round draft gem from 2019 orchestrated a jaw-dropping 57-yard pass to Quentin Johnston. That paved the way for Austin Ekeler’s triumphant touchdown four plays later.

Stick’s performance? It was a gritty 13-of-24 passing for 179 yards, with no touchdowns, and no interceptions. It wasn’t a flashy stat line, but it was the kind of underdog hustle that makes you believe in miracles. The Chargers might not be punching their playoff ticket just yet, but with Stick in the driver’s seat, the dream is alive and kicking. Keenan Allen, declared the playoffs aren’t a lost cause. The Chargers, fueled by Stick’s potential, are on a mission – an improbable turnaround that could rewrite the postseason script. Can Stick pull off the comeback magic?
