Micah Parsons is loving what his mom is doing! The linebacker and his Dallas Cowboys fell short in the postseason game wildcard round. Now that the 2023 game tenure is over, Parsons has decided to spend his offseason with his mom, Sherese Parsons.

From raising three children alone despite the financial constraints to now enjoying her life because of a well-acclaimed athlete son, Sherese has come a long way. Now, she is embarking on a new journey. And son Parsons is excited about it.

Mom Sherese joins Micah Parsons on his fitness journey!

In the latest Instagram story shared by Micah Parsons, his mom, Sherese Parsons, is seen embarking on a new fitness journey. She joined Parsons in training for boxing in his gym. And in the video, she could be seen learning and practicing with Parsons’ boxing coach, Tony Mack.

Sherese perfectly punched Mack’s gloves during the practice without missing a punch, and the coach is visibly pleased with Mamma Parsons’ performance. Expressing happiness and pride in his mother, and showing appreciation to Mack, the linebacker wrote, “Proud of you @shereseparsons let’s keep working towards our goals!! thank you @tmackelitetraining.

In the subsequent story, they were also captured posing with boxing gloves in their hands.

Micah Parsons and his team faced playoff disappointment for the third consecutive year. Amid potential changes for the next season, including the possible departure of defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, allegations arose regarding Parsons’ perceived selfishness. This led his mother, Sherese Parsons, to defend him on social media in response to criticism from former WR Jesse Holly. Holly said, “Micah Parsons, to me, this is just me, is probably the most selfish player on this football team. One of the reasons why Micah Parsons does not want to play linebacker, it’s too much of a responsibility.

Backing her son, Sherese highlighted Micah’s contributions on the sidelines, his resilience through injuries, and his efforts to build camaraderie within the defense. She emphasized, “Micah wants to play De and Lb. How often has he said he wanted to be the “chess piece”? He doesn’t know we have the D line over for dinner, and the chef cooks help build commodore in the defense. They do a D-line dinner every Thursday. How many times have they shown him on the sidelines assisting other players, or they went to the boxing gym together? He even recruited other D-line players to train with him this office season to help them improve as a unit…..

All in all, Sherese portrayed Micah as a committed player who, despite the challenges, strives to give his best for the team.
