Patrick Mahomes is processing the Chiefs‘ devastating Super Bowl loss that shattered their three-peat dream! But, he is not alone in his grief. The QB’s beloved wife, Brittany Mahomes, has also come forth to express the depth of her emotions, in the aftermath of the loss. However, amidst this, Brittany also had a celebratory moment as she was proud of her daughter’s hard work.
Patrick and Brittany are parents to Sterling Mahomes (3), Bronze Mahomes (2), and Golden Mahomes (born January 2025). Her eldest daughter, Sterling, combed her mom’s hair with all vigor, in the latest Instagram story shared by Brittany. She asks Sterling, “Are you doing my hair,” as her daughter picks up the comb to brush it. Brittany then appreciates her daughter’s hard work, remarking, “wow, you are working hard.”
Indeed, Brittany’s clips of her daily life with her children never fail to entice us. Especially, as the moment weighs heavy considering Patrick Mahomes shouldering the blame for the Chiefs’ defeat, it is a respite for us all.

In a press conference before Super Bowl LIX, Patrick had remarked that he was looking ahead to spending time with his kids after the Super Bowl. He remarked, “Whenever I get in the off-season, I try to spend as much time as I can with them.” Further, he stated, ” I get to see what they do on a day-to-day basis and build those memories with them,” highlighted in the E-News article from Feb. 2025. Even a heartfelt story shared by Brittany recently shows how Patrick takes a keen interest in fatherhood.
Brittany shares a heartfelt post appreciating Patrick’s dedication to fatherhood
Two days after the defeat, Brittany took to her IG handle to reshare a heartfelt message from her children’s infant sleep coach, Jenna. Sharing Jenna’s story, posted on her handle 4theloveofsleep, was a beautiful message appreciating how Patrick balances fatherhood with football. The caption reads, “Not only is Patrick a standout football player, changing the game with his talent and integrity both on and off the field, but he’s also redefining what fatherhood looks like — even with a full plate.” Jenna further added, how willingly he seeks to be a part of the parenting tasks, whether it is bath time, waking up from naps, or any small activity, like meals.

Jenna further appreciated Patrick’s simplicity as a dad, writing, “To so many, you’re the #1 football player, but to three little ones, you’re the #1 dad — and one of the most incredible fathers I’ve had the privilege of working with and for.” Jenna did not leave Brittany out of the equation, writing how she brings everything together. “The way you juggle it all with grace, little sleep, selflessness, and love is truly inspiring,” Jenna wrote, expressing happiness at being a friend of hers.
Towards the end of the message, she shared a powerful reminder, iterating the power of kindness. She writes this to remind the world that “Patrick is so much more than just a football player,” as he finds himself at the cusp of despair over the Chiefs’ defeat.

Mahomes had addressed his fans in his social media post, adding, “Appreciate all the love and support from #ChiefsKingdom. I let y’all down today. I’ll always continue to work and try and learn and be better for it.” As he hopes for a solid comeback in the next season, one thing he can remain certain of is that his family, friends, and fans will always be by his side.
