The 2025 NFL Draft has been generating a lot of attention right now. It will take place from April 24th to April 26th, and many well-known players can be a part of it. One of those names is running back Ashton Jeanty, who has entered the NFL like a tornado. The dude is a beast on the field, and it appears that some teams are unable to wait until the draft to sign him. So they’ll have to think outside the box to get the RB. But who are these teams?
Ashton Jeanty was recently seen with Kevin Clark in an interview where they discussed his NFL Draft plans. In between, Clark posed a somewhat large question about the behind-the-scenes manipulation. And, surprisingly, Jeanty said that he has already had offers from ten different teams. These teams contacted the RB through his head coach or another identified individual. But is this the correct thing to do? Of course not, and the 21-year-old agrees.
I asked Ashton Jeanty how teams tampered with him.
About ten teams got his number from a former coach or friend and just called him.

The Boise State Broncos’ player also revealed how he never liked behaviours like this and usually avoids them. The man stated, “It’s illegal, and it’s going on in college football and that’s the only way for guys to know a school wants them or they have a secure spot.” While the RB disclosed all of these BTS details, he never mentioned the names of the teams. Despite the fact that he stated that ten different teams had expressed interest in signing him beforehand. But! This guy is surely in demand.
Talking about Ashton Jeanty’s current demand, there are speculations that his draft pick number can be changed. According to rumors, Jeanty is predicted to be number ten pick in the draft, but he has a high chance of moving up to number six. Running backs are typically pushed back in the lineup to make room for more valuable players. But it appears that Jeanty’s talent is working things in a completely opposite direction. ESPN’s Field Yates reported, even claiming that the Raiders can sign this player immediately.
While these reports clearly support Jeanty’s draft pick prediction, it appears that other legends also have a positive view of the RB. But can he meet these expectations?

Reggie Bush wants Ashton Jeanty to do everything for the team
Although the NFL has seen a decrease in the passion for running backs in recent years, players such as Saquon Barkley and Ashton Jeanty remain. They’ve both demonstrated how valuable an RB can be and how they can affect the game. Despite this, it appears that former running back Reggie Bush believes these players have much more potential. He recently discussed how he expects Ashton Jeanty to return kicks throughout the game. That’s a weird request.
What’s your perspective on:
Ten teams tampering for Jeanty—Is this a sign of desperation or strategic genius?
Have an interesting take?
Reggie recently discussed these topics with FanSided’s Iain McMillan and Cody Williams. The legend indicated that Jeanty is young and talented, so he can learn more. Bush wants him to learn how to return kicks, which will benefit the team the most.
Reggie Bush explained, “For example, Ashton Jeanty, who I got a chance to spend some time with recently … I would love to see Ashton Jeanty returning kicks. I would love to see Ashton Jeanty returning punts. Even if it’s something he’s never done before … just because we’re in the era where we need our players to do more. It’s not okay to just go into a team and say ‘I’m just going to play this one position and that’s it.’ Unless you’re the quarterback.”
