Eli Manning calls Tyreek Hill the GOAT—agree or disagree with this bold statement?

With just 17 days left for the release of EA Madden 25, excitement builds as NFL fans wait to see the new inclusions of the prestigious 99 club. Among the thrilling announcements, the induction of a player in the club is currently the talk of the NFL world. Eli Manning took the stage to reveal the first entry to the 99 Club, and his name is Tyreek Hill. Being unexpected of this inclusion, Hill couldn’t stop expressing his feelings on finally entering the 99 Club.

On the X video of Madden NFL 25, “I wanna welcome you to Maddens’ 99 club, first time” were the words of Manning that sparked the eyes of Hill. With a record of beating Tom Brady twice in the Super Bowl (2008 and 2012) and holding the most number of MVP awards, Manning is also considered the GOAT QB. “Pretty awesome, Coming from the Goat himself, ” were the first set of words that came out from Hill’s mouth after he was welcomed by Eli to the 99 Club.

Although he was thrilled, the wideout still caught his breath to say that it was ‘great’ to be a part of the 99 group. The club is for those who are best at their positions, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce being two of them. Standing beside the GOATs from the Chiefs and his former teammates was a ‘great’ honor for the Cheetah to be in the club. Moreover, the Dolphins WR took his excitement to social media as well. On his Instagram story, the wideout said that he was blessed to be in the 99 Club and it was actually an honor for him to be a part of that. “99 is crazy” with a smile is what Hill came up with to further express his happiness to the world.

Hill also said that he wanted to see himself as a 99-rated player and he was finally there, “So, here I am, at 99“. In addition, Hill was also happy with the neck-chain and a controller that came along. But what actually made Hill stand out as a part of the 99 Club?

Well, per Eli, it was Hill’s flashy records as a WR that got him the membership of the club, “190 receptions, 1800 yards, 21 touchdowns and a 99-speed rate“. Tyreek stands at the top of the list of the fastest WRs, with a blazing speed of 23.34 mph. But that’s his last season records, which earned him a slot in the 99 Club. However, what are Hill’s thoughts on the upcoming season?

Hill regrets emphasizing more on chasing personal records and wishes not to vocalize such aspirations this year. Although he wants to complete the immortal number: 2000 yards, he has something else in mind. So, this season Hill wants to play for the team and not for himself, “And being one of the leaders and just singling out an individual goal like that, that’s very selfish of me“. But to do that, he has to be elite even in his 30s. So how is the Cheetah gonna maintain the balance between age and speed?

The Dophins’ WR underwent a stem cell treatment to mend cells and restore blood flow during the off-season. His treatment at Antigua was a success, and the purpose was fulfilled, too. Moreover, Hill said that he feels amazing after 30 days of the treatment. This was evident from the 23rd July X post of Travis Wingfield stating “Says he feels great at age 30“. It seems like the Dolphins are gonna see a much stronger ‘Cheetah’ in the upcoming season.

The Miami Dolphins are thus hoping for Tyreek Hill to come back stronger. And looks like their WR is right on the track. So, will we see the Cheetah in a more agile form against the Atlanta Falcons on August 10? Well, the wait is not long.
