On March 4, 2024, Jason Kelce hung up his cleats, delivering a retirement speech for the ages. But despite officially saying goodbye to football, the Eagles star is still connected with the sport via his podcast and ESPN shows. The same goes with his wife Kylie Kelce, who even after Jason’s NFL exit, continues to follow the ritual she has been doing for a long time.
During a recent episode of the Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast, Jason Kelce’s wife explained how “Playoff Kylie” is a whole different version of herself. She said, “Playoff Kylie is different from regular season Kylie, because the superstitions take over the whole day.” How?
Well, from the moment Kylie Kelce wakes up until the game is over, she’s fully locked in. The pregnant momma expressed, “I will not check Twitter. I will avoid most social media. I will not post on a game day, that was when Jason was playing, and still now. That’s game day, I don’t know why we’re posting other things. I don’t know why we’re acting like life is still happening, life is not happening Eagles are happening. So, that seems silly to be posting other things.”

So, for Kylie Kelce, game day is all about the Eagles. Posting about anything else feels out of place because, in her mind, nothing else is happening – only the game matters. Mrs. Kelce joked about how serious she gets, acknowledging it might sound a bit intense, but she’s not changing. For her, the focus and energy she sends to the team are crucial. She knows it might seem silly to others, but the mom of three daughters is sticking with it because she truly believes in it.
Well, no doubt, we already know that Kylie Kelce is a big and loyal Eagles fan, no matter if her brother-in-law is on a different team. She will be forever the Eagles! This was also evident in last year’s Super Bowl game, in which the Eagles were not playing. So, when Jason came forward to support his brother Travis Kelce wearing the Chiefs jersey, Kylie refused to put on a different team’s jersey other than the Eagles. Hence, she just wore a red color t-shirt to show her support for the Chiefs and her brother-in-law. A true Philly!
However, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t share a strong bond with the Chiefs tight end. She does, as the 32-year-old said, “We stay surrounded by family and friends, so we keep the people around us very close to us.” But it seems, her daughter Wyatt is a bit closer to her uncle than Kylie is!
A cute dilemma for Kylie Kelce’s daughter
Kylie Kelce’s first daughter Wyatt always has something to share with her uncle, Travis Kelce. While recalling this shenanigan on Thursday, January 16, episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, Kylie Kelce revealed, “I always say, if [Wyatt] doesn’t win an Oscar, I want my money back.” Why?

Well, she informed her listeners that “Whenever she gets to go downstairs and talk to Uncle Trav [on the podcast] it is like, ‘Uncle Trav, guess what!’ Jason will [then] be like, ‘Alright, go upstairs with Mom,’ and I can see her nodding with her headphones on. Travis is over there like, ‘No way, tell me more.’” A cute moment, isn’t it?
After narrating this incident, Kylie Kelce even added, “I mean, I get it. He’s [Travis] exciting. He’s a fun guy, the king of funcles, really.” Aha! The tight end has got a new name in return after he gave the “Princess Kyana” nickname to her.
