Besides being one of the greatest quarterbacks in football right now, Patrick Mahomes is also a giver. He made headlines a day after his 28th birthday that he had signed a restructured contract that will see him earning $210.6 million over 4 years. It became the highest-valued contract for a four-year span. But he’s also a believer in giving back to society, and last night was a testament to that mission.

Other than being a philanthropist, Mahomes is also an ace investor who has investments in several companies and sports teams. His sports empires include Alpine F1, Sporting KC, Kansas City Current and Kansas City Royal. In the video, the presence of one person, who is also a co-investor with Mahomes in some companies, has led to many people getting disappointed.

Patrick Mahomes had established his foundation called “15 and the Mahomies Foundation” in 2019. 15, as we know, is the number of his Kansas City Chiefs QB’s jersey. The organization took to X, to share a short overview of what had transpired at the event. The event was held at The Midland Theatre in Kansas City. The video was captioned, “The 4th Annual 15 and the Mahomies Foundation Gala – an incredible night of community, celebration and giving. ”

Indeed, it was a night of giving as the couple awarded a huge sum to different charitable organizations. $615,000. That’s the sum that was shared among various organizations. Mahomes signed off the event by saying, “Thank y’all for being here. Let’s keep it going, let’s make it bigger and bigger and see where we can go.” Superwife Brittany Mahomes could also be spotted on the stage with him.

Travis Kelce chooses best friend over rumored girlfriend

Travis Kelce was supposed to be with his rumored beau, in another continent. Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour started its international leg on November 9 from Estadio River Plate, Buenos Aires, Argentina. After Taylor Swift attended all Chiefs home games, since their dating rumors started, it was expected that Kelce would attend as many of her international concerts as his NFL schedule would allow. And the Chiefs even have a bye-week.

While for Swifties, Kelce’s absence at their idol’s concert is inexcusable, they can take relief in the fact that it was for a good cause. Kelce was present at the Mahomies Foundation event and could be seen embracing Mahomes in the video. We still don’t know if he too made any donations at the event. Still, his presence is sure to have positively affected the fundraising auction held there.

And besides, Swifties shouldn’t be too disappointed. Swift’s concerts will go on till June 2024. Kelce will have enough opportunities to be there and support Taylor.
