Probably the most intriguing showdown is going to take place in some time. The Pittsburgh Steelers are going to face off against the Tennessee Titans in Week 9 after their Bye Weeks. The two AFC teams who stand at 4-3 (Steelers) and 3-4 (Titans) will meet up at Steelers’ home ground, Acrisure Stadium at 8:15 p.m. ET. today.

This matchup will be interesting as the two quarterbacks Will Levis and Kenny Pickett will try to make it big in their record book. Pickett, on one hand, has the habit of coming alive in the fourth quarter, while Levis, on the other, has already shown his excellence from the very beginning of the first quarter in his matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. Before this much-anticipated matchup, another glaring difference between them is surfacing online, indicating that Levis might be on the path to making history in this game.

The Titans’ offense has struggled this year, but they recently found Will Levis, who in his debut game last week, took the football world by storm. And Kenny Pickett will look to wake up his team as well. According to reports, these two quarterbacks have “Career games with 2+ passing TDs.” Levis threw for four touchdowns in a 28-23 upset win over the Falcons in his debut.

While, on the other hand, Pickett has thrown for two touchdowns in just 1 game against the Las Vegas Raiders in their Week 3 matchup, leading his team to win 23-18. This was his first professional game with more than one touchdown. Hence, in the upcoming game, Pickett will try to score more than two touchdowns, amid his team’s struggling offensive end.

Whereas, on the other hand, rookie Levis will try to make history by continuing his touchdown scores, as he became the third QB to throw for four touchdowns in his debut, following Fran Tarkenton (Minnesota Vikings, 1961) and Marcus Mariota (Titans, 2015).

As the two young quarterbacks Will Levis and Kenny Pickett will face off against each other, Thursday night football will be interesting for fans to watch. In his first 20 games in the NFL, Pickett has only had a really good passing performance, a passer rating of 100, and above 90 in the total of three games. Although in passing he has managed to score two touchdowns in one game, his 78.0 career passer rating still marks the lowest among all quarterbacks. He has thrown for more than 265 yards in a single game once, however, they had a blowout loss in that game against the Buffalo Bills.

Interestingly, the team hasn’t gained 400 yards in a game till now since Pickett’s entry. Furthermore, his offensive line is average as it doesn’t help any offensive coordinator in the games. On the other hand, Will Levis has all in him that is required to be a great quarterback. After an emotional NFL draft, he has proved himself in his first opportunity. He passed for 238 yards and threw four TDs in his last. The young QB just needs to avoid some mental errors and improve his abilities to become a sensational QB of the Titans.
