The Kansas City Chiefs have fumbled once again in the ongoing season. The team lost their fourth game on Sunday against the Packers, surpassing last year’s tally of three with five games remaining in hand. QB Patrick Mahomes isn’t having his best season. But among the bad news, one good story might improve the Chiefdom’s day.

As expected, it revolves around their two queens, Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift. The duo was again spotted together at Lambeau Field, cheering for the Chiefs. Although their men couldn’t bring the much-needed away victory for the team, their special moment for sure has brought smiles to the fans’ faces.

The singer is done with The Eras Tour for the year and is reportedly moving in with Travis Kelce for the next few months. So, Taylor can be expected as a regular visitor to the Chiefs’ games during that time. But fans are already overwhelmed with her first-of-many appearances as she was spotted multiple times being excited, cheering, and even hugging Brittany Mahomes once in the VIP suite.

And it’s impossible that the sights didn’t capture Swifties’ attention. In their casual manner, they have collected a few of those images and shared them on X (formerly Twitter), captioning it: “Long live that look on your face ❤️.

And the comment section couldn’t keep calm. Seeing the two together after one month, the fans got overwhelmed and let their emotions out. One fan wished that the smiles would never fade away.

Another revealed the singer’s song had a special place in her heart.

One simply wrote, “Always,” sending a positive remark on the post.

One couldn’t get over the pair’s looks.

Another fan adored their appearance in the Chiefs’ red and black apparel.

The beautiful moment between the two gives the Chiefs’ fans the momentary happiness they need. But to get the ultimate satisfaction at the end of the season, they might need to step up their game. Because, at the moment, things are not going great.

The Chiefs are not the AFC favorites anymore

Two weeks ago, with the loss against the Eagles, the Chiefs lost their AFC top spot to the 9-3 Ravens. Now, it is further eroded by the unexpected defeat to the Packers that no one saw coming. The team, on paper, has already qualified for the postseason next year, but a massive reformation is needed to recreate their past season’s success.

There also seems to be a decline in Patrick Mahomes’ numbers, as the quarterback doesn’t look as dominant as he did in the last season when he won the NFL MVP award. That may haven’t mattered if the Chiefs were winning games regardless, but they aren’t, at least as often as a defending champion should. If Patrick Mahomes can’t resonate with his words on correcting the mistakes, the Chiefs’ playoff run may come to an untimely end.

They next face the AFC East’s Buffalo Bills on December 10. And to reclaim their AFC favorite tag, the Chiefs must show why they are the defending champions in front of the home crowd next Sunday.
