But now, as the 2025 NFL drafts are just around the corner, one more future star from Penn State wants to be in the NFL and also shared in which team he wants to be. The player is Abdul Carter.

LB Carter is currently playing for the Penn State Nittany Lions and killing it. But before knowing his college stats, do you know what he has already achieved? Unanimous All-American of 2024 and Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year. That’s impressive! And apart from this, when asked about the NFL drafts, Carter expressed about his favorite team. Voila! The young pass rusher of Penn State wants to be in the 6.6 billion dollar franchise – the Philadelphia Eagles. The Penn State Nittany Lions just ended their 2024 season with a playoff loss. In the entire season, Abdul Carter played 16 games, successfully tackling 43 times solo, assisting 25 tackles, and 12.0 sackings. And we look at Abdul Carter’s entire college career: He has done 172 tackles (104 solos, 68 assists) and sacked 23 times along with one interception.

The Penn State linebacker has Super Bowl aspirations. On his aspirations and strong plays, Drew Rosenhaus (renowned sports agent) has said, “I’ve been an NFL agent for 36 years. This is absolutely one of the toughest human beings I’ve ever been affiliated with. Just watch this guy play. He plays so hard every snap. If he can go, he’ll go.” Rosenhaus was on McAffee Show while talking about this. He has also said that Abdul Carter is nursing a shoulder injury.

The 2025 NFL drafts will be in full swing in the coming days. But the franchises have locked in their spots while the pickup dates are three months away (April). Tankathon.com has provided a list of teams who will be picking up the player according to their strengths of schedule… And Abdul Carter may receive bad news!

According to reports, the Tennessee Titans are at the first spot in picking up the players in 2025 NFL drafts by their strength of schedule. Following them, the 2nd team is the Cleveland Browns. Then at 3rd, it’s the New York Giants who are thinking about picking Shedeur Sanders as a first pick, but no official announcements yet. However, the bad news for Abdul Carter is the Philadelphia Eagles stand at the No. 30 spot. That’s after their wild-card win over the Packers.

Along with the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens, the Eagles franchise also can’t pick any player higher than No.25. In the SOS list about 2025 drafts, Abdul Carter’s favorite team has only .453 of the strength of schedule. That’s in comparison with the Titans who are No.1 locked-in spot with .522 SOS.
