Without looking up their heights, who do you think is taller? You most probably went with Lamar Jackson, and not Patrick Mahomes. Before we reveal their actual heights, the two are going to go head-to-head. No, not in a height-measuring contest, but on the gridiron. The Ravens had clinched the AFC’s No. 1 seed and had skipped the Wild Card round. The Chiefs, on the contrary, are coming off two victories. And this will be their last hurdle before the climax.

But here’s the burning question as the face-off inches closer: Who’s got the height advantage? Will it be the two-time Super Bowl champ? Or the QB who is still chasing that elusive first Super Bowl win? It’s the ultimate faceoff, and we’re about to find out who stands tall on the field.

Surprisingly, the two have the exact same height! Both are 6′2″. Even though it always looked like Jackson was clearly the taller of the two. But the numbers state something else. What about their weight? Mahomes is actually the heavier of the two at 225 lb as compared to Jackson, who is 215 lb.

Now that we’ve put the height debate to rest, let’s delve into the real meat of the matter. Who’s the superior quarterback when it comes to the nitty-gritty of football? At first glance, it might seem like Mahomes has the upper hand. He already boasts two Super Bowls in just five years with the Chiefs. On the flip side, Jackson, drafted in the same year, has a grand total of zero Super Bowl victories to his name. Quite the contrasting scoreboard, isn’t it?

History, it seems, is on the side of the Chiefs. The KC squad has won 7 times. Baltimore? They’ve won 5 times against the Chiefs. But that’s their entire matchup history. What about in the Mahomes era? Since Patrick started for the team in 2018, he is 3-1 against Lamar. But these numbers might force you to make a wrong prediction. The Ravens and the Chiefs have gone head-to-head only once during the playoffs. And guess which team won? Purple Murder.

At an individual level, both players have different strengths. Mahomes is 6th and 8th in passing yards and passing touchdowns. Jackson? He is 15th and 11th. But then move to rushing metrics and Lamar clearly outdoes Patrick. He is numero uno and 4th when it comes to rushing yards and TDs, while Mahomes is 6th and 37th!
