The back-to-back Super Bowl Champions will face off against last year’s AFC Championship Game rivals Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, Sep 5. The last time the Chiefs and Ravens faced each other, the Baltimore side was eliminated from the Super Bowl run after losing 10-17 to the KC team. This meeting, however, might end up with a more challenging result, keeping in view the reinforced offenses of the two teams, with Lamar Jackson getting a new weapon in Derrick Henry and Patrick Mahomes with his new receiver Xavier Worthy.

The next home game will be against Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals, which is even more interesting considering Burrow is making a much-needed recovery from his injury to start the season. The Bengals finished last in the AFC North last year due to Burrow’s absence. So, the fans are hoping for a lot from this matchup. Burrow and his team faced the Chiefs in the 2022 season playoffs conference championship and lost 23-20 to Mahomes and his squad.

But the ultimate déjà vu will happen when the Chiefs face the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl rematch in week 7, again stirring the emotions of the fans throughout the world. The game of Super Bowl last season ended in a 25-22 win for the Chiefs, but the updated rosters do not allow an edge to favor any single team.
