The Kansas City Chiefs and their first game back on the gridiron hasn’t been an ideal preseason opener. This time, it was against Trevor Lawrence‘s Jacksonville Jaguars where Patrick Mahomes‘ Chiefs fell short with a 26-13 score. However, the QB did not seem to have taken the setback to his heart, and we can see that in the cute picture that Brittany dropped on her socials.
Mahomes is in his comfort zone, it’s a bright Sunday and all he wants to do is relax for the storm that’s brewing up ahead of the regular season. So, what helps Patrick Mahomes prepare for the big games? Perhaps some quality time with the kids may be a way to reset his mind.
Brittany’s latest IG Story shows what Mahomes and his kids are up to these days. Well, the father of two is just chilling with them these days. The photo, “Off day Oreos & snuggles” shows the QB snuggling up with his kids as they enjoy their Oreos. The father and his kids are dressed in matching outfits. Bronze looks distracted as always while Sterling and her dad throw a cute pose at the camera.

This is a memory that Patrick Mahomes also decided to share on his Instagram Stories! While we’re talking about the Mahomes family, it’s exciting how the couple is going to welcome another life in the coming months. But for now, he might have to watch Bronze put stickers on his forehead while eating his food.
Remember as a kid when your mother used to distract you with all sorts of stuff just to put some food in your mouth? Yeah, that does the trick for Bronze too. Except he eats when he has a sticker on his forehead. Brittany’s Story titled, “I put a sticker on his forehead, and he eats every time. Please tell me how this makes sense,” showed Bronze with dinosaur stickers on his forehead and wrist as he eats his food.

As the football season approaches, the 3x Super Bowl winner might have very little time to spend with his family. The KC Chiefs have a lot of road games this year and the QB has to prepare for it. Also, the preseason games including last season’s haven’t really made things easier for Mahomes either.

Well, we know preseason games don’t matter. However, the Kansas City Chiefs have been losing preseason openers for the last two years. In 2022, Mahomes and his team lost to the Chicago Bears 19-14 in the first preseason game of the year. Then in the 2023 preseason, the Chiefs lost 24-26 to the Saints.
However, it doesn’t matter because the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl in both of those seasons. The game against the Jacksonville Jaguars ended up 26-13 in the Jags’ favor, but that’s not a cause for concern. The real issue is Marquise Brown’s injury which might keep him away from the field for a couple of weeks.
“Even though it’s a preseason game, you have to have that same energy you have in the regular season,” Mahomes said after losing to the Saints in the preseason last year. “I think you saw that we came out, and they had more energy than we did.”

This time, though, the Chiefs superstar didn’t play a lot. He gave his backup QBs a chance to prove themselves. However, in the short time that he played, Mahomes went three for four over 27 yards without any touchdowns or picks.
