The celebration isn’t over yet for the Kansas City Chiefs! Currently, the team has been preparing hard for the 2024 season during their training camp and practice. Therefore, it was obvious for them to take a much-needed break from their rigorous routine. And this time as a break from their workout session, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Chris Jones made their NFL and Arrowhead fans crazy over their debut at Morgan Wallen’s concert.
According to NFL insider, Jordan Schultz, “Morgan Wallen walked out to Arrowhead with a #Chiefs’ Harrison Butker jersey tonight — alongside Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Chris Jones!” Though Wallen gave a nod to Butker by donning his no. 7 jersey, the country music star made sure to get his name printed on the back of the jersey. In the video shared by Schultz on X, it is visible that singer-songwriter Wallen comes out of the stadium’s tunnel while dancing to a song. His appearance seemed to play well with the crowd in KC.

And joining him first was the quarterback Mahomes in a blue shirt paired with funky goggles and blue denim. They were also accompanied by Kelce who wore an off-white t-shirt having “We’re beer for you” printed on it. Next came Jones, whose big brown hat caught the attention of many social media users. They all came dancing out of the tunnel, as the crowd loudly cheered for them.
Interestingly, this appearance of Mahomes came after he was snubbed from the first rank in the NFL Top 100 list. This time, Mahomes is ranked at no. 4 by the NFL replacing previous year’s first rank.

A downfall of the Chiefs in NFL ranking?
Three members of the Chiefs were named in the top of the NFL’s Top 100 players’ list, voted by the players themselves. Patrick Mahomes secured rank 4 after slipping from 2023 rank 1. This time, Tyreek Hill has been given the no. 1 rank. Accompanying him in top 10 were – defensive tackle Chris Jones at no. 6 and tight end Travis Kelce at no. 9. This year’s ranking appeared to be good only for Jones who moved up to sixth rank after his previous 10th rank last season. For Kelce, it was similar to Mahomes’ downfall. Last year Kelce was at no. 6, but this time he slipped to the ninth rank. That’s quite a pretty downfall for the Chiefs’ star players.
But if we look at the positive side, the Chiefs is the only team to feature three players in the top 10 of the rankings. Mahomes “owns the league with touchdown passes (219) and passing yards (28,424) through 100 career regular-season games in NFL history.” Jones, on the other hand, in 2023 recorded “75 pressures, 29 quarterback hits and 10.5 sacks in 16 games.” And at last, the rank 9 holder Kelce, “caught 93 passes for 984 yards and five touchdowns in 2023, adding 32 receptions for 355 yards and 3 TDs in the playoffs.”
