In 2021, the Chiefs drafted two towering men. Center Creed Humphrey, standing at 6 feet 4 inches and weighing 302 pounds (137 kgs) has regularly pushed the defense from reaching their quarterback Patrick Mahomes. It’s the same for Trey Smith, a giant man measuring 6 feet 6 inches and 321 pounds (146 kg). For years, their power has shone on the field, propelling the team to win 2 back-to-back Super Bowls. But everyone was dumbfounded on January 12.
Both men were at church and pushed a stuck car out of the snow. An Instagram user named Ana Lucia Demmer shared it in her IG story, calling her best friend with an IG name “_gretchh_” lucky. She even wrote, “Do you know how lucky you gotta be that two 0line men were at church today bestie?” Just like on the gridiron, they put in a collective effort, even shouting after the car got out on the road again, leaving fans amazed by their sheer strength.

For 4 seasons, Patrick Mahomes has got great pocket protection from these two strong men. While Humphrey has 4 forced fumbles, Smith has 1 tackle in the last 3 playoff seasons, starting in all 10 games the Chiefs have played. Having won 2 Super Bowls, they made fans go crazy by going to a WWE Monday Night RAW together.
It was a great show. The Grim Reaper was sitting in the first row of the crowd with both O-line men sitting by his side. Wrestler Braun Strowman even came up to their quarterback and trash-talked a little. When Patrick Mahomes stood up, these two stood up with their own belts. They, too, looked like a classic wrestler.
For now, everyone got the news they eagerly awaited. After finishing the regular season with a 15-2 record win-loss, the Chiefs are already in the divisional playoff game. Their rival was confirmed.
Patrick Mahomes’s locker room ready for the playoff battle
Arrowhead is ready to host the Chiefs vs Texans on January 18 or 19. The Chiefs would be happy to face them. They already won the only game in the regular season against them by 27-19. But the visitors have shown resilience by defeating the Chargers 32-12, something no one expected. Expect a tough battle next week.

While the home team would want to repeat their dominant run against the Texans, they need to show their top-notch game. In the 2 games these two have played, both went in the Chiefs’ favor, with scores of 30-0 in 2016 and 51-31 in 2020. That’s impressive.
However, CJ Stroud has shown his capability to change history. Against the Chargers on January 11, he completed 22 of 33 passes (66.7% completion rate) in 282 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception. On the flip side, Patrick Mahomes has zero interceptions after the week 11 loss against the Bills while scoring 12 touchdowns. So, both pose a serious threat to each other.
