In all honesty, we’ve never seen Jerry Jones as anxious and nervous as he was after the loss to the Houston Texans. The tension on his face quickly trickled down in the private suite where the billionaire owner was watching his team take a beating. His team not only lost 34-10 that day, but also saw 4 Cowboys get injured in the bout. After all this, Jones might surely be thinking about doing some disaster management.
It’s no secret that Jones is the talk of the town since his team isn’t doing well. But being roasted on the CMAs is a whole different level of mockery. The shots came from none other than NFL legend Peyton Manning and other country musicians. While some are in for slandering Jones and his Cowboys, others like Randi Mahomes are in for the love of music.
Patrick Mahomes’ mom was enjoying the show from the comfort of her own home. She couldn’t help but appreciate the award show. She took to IG and shared a snippet of Jelly Roll’s performance in the CMAs. Safe to say that she’s a country music gal through and through. She then took to X and tweeted out, “The CMA’s has been amazing 😊.”

Now let’s talk about Jerry Jones catching unwarranted strays in front of thousands of people (millions if you include the TV viewers). The 58 annual CMAs started with Post Malone and Chris Stapleton opening the night with their song “California Sober” before passing the buck to Peyton Manning, Luke Brown, and Lainey Wilson. It began as fun and jokes and quickly translated into a circle jerk of sorts.
Wilson referenced a Kelsea Ballerini and Noah Kahan song. She took shots at the owner of the $9.4 billion franchise, saying, “We learned this year that ‘Cowboys Cry Too’.” This was too funny for Peyton Manning to resist. The former NFL QB chimed in with the punchline of the day: “But enough about Jerry Jones.” Get ready folks, more Jerry Jones memes are on the way.
On that note, let’s talk about the footage of Jerry Jones that surfaced after the 34-10 loss to the Texans at home.
Does Jerry Jones deserve the slander?
Well, we’ll leave that question to the Cowboys fans to answer. But isn’t it weird? The Jerry Land doesn’t have curtains on during game time. But when Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson happened, suddenly, the arena turned into a flawless, mesmerizing, and grandiose venue. With curtains! Let’s not even talk about the loss to the Texans because there are only two outcomes to the game and the worst one came out to be true.
Seeing Jerry Jones in his suite as his team gets blown out will never get old.

Let’s talk about that sheet of metal falling down and nearly respawning someone to the afterlife. What’s up with that? If anything, it was an omen that things were about to go horribly wrong. The grumpy look on Jerry Jones’s face was worse than when the Lions beat his team 47-9. But props to the Cowboys owner for not making rash decisions like the New York Jets and firing people mid-season.
The silence was loud in Jerry Jones’ private suite. He realized that this season was beyond redemption despite shelling nearly half a billion dollars on Prescott and Lamb. Both of them haven’t shown any production. The Dallas Cowboys are 3-7 after Prescott’s season-ending injury and they really look like they are about to cry.

Heck, they are nearing the point of being grouped with teams like the Carolina Panthers, Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars, and all the other teams you ignore watching. It’s funny how people only hate-watch the Americas team at this point.
