Raising all three children alone while balancing her work was not easy for her, but NFL star QB mom nailed it. And it is truly admirable! After taking a break from her nearly 20-year-long career with the Hollytree Country Club, Chiefs QB’s mom kept updating her followers on her new upcoming project. Interestingly, hours ago, Randi had asked her fans to guess her special project. And now, the big reveal is here! So, what is her new project all about?

Taking to her official IG handle, the mom of three proudly disclosed that she is launching Sports Parent Academy. Sharing the short video clip, she provided the details of her new project in her post caption: “After months of praying, planning, and putting my heart into this… Sports Parent Academy is coming to life. Shoutout to the team and our guests for making this happen!” She also urged sports parents to join them in their exciting project, “If you’re a sports parent or know someone who is, drop ‘Sports Parent’ in the comments so you’re the first to know when we go live!”

Besides this, she shed light on what her new initiative was all about. The 52-year-old wrote, “Sports Parent Academy is a comprehensive online course and playbook, created to walk alongside YOU as sports parents through every season of your journey with confidence, clarity, and purpose. I’ve learned so much over the years, and I can’t wait to share it all with you. The wins, the hard lessons, and everything in between. I’m so excited for what’s ahead! Look out for the official launch coming soon!”

Once her post surfaced on the internet, her comment section was flooded with congratulatory messages while curiosity about her Sports Parent Academy among fans ran high. Impressively, well-known author, performance coach, and motivational speaker Kirsten Jones, and famous author and psychologist Elizabeth Lombardo have also been working with her relentlessly to make this project successful.

And who better to guide than Randi Mahomes herself? After all, she developed from the challenging experience of being a sports parent while supporting her son in the NFL. While when she started working on this project is not known, she did retire from her almost 2 long decades career at the Hollytree Country Club which made her ‘cry’ all day.

Randi Mahomes cried all day upon breaking the nearly two-decades-long bond

Closing the almost 20-year-long chapter as the member and event planner of the country club in Texas in June last year was the most difficult decision for Randi. Clearly, during that period, she built a close relationship with her colleagues. Taking to Instagram, she wrote, “It’s been an amazing journey filled with countless memories and wonderful people. I am so blessed to have had an incredible work family at Hollytree. As I step into this new chapter, I’m looking forward to spending quality time with my kids, grandkids, and family.”

Impressively, the matriarch of the Mahomes family even made a positive impact on many with her independence, resilience, and discipline. And when her former colleague Meghan Howard penned a heartfelt note shedding light on their 18-year-long bond, well, let’s just say that it left us all misty-eyed. Howard drew inspiration from Randi that helped her embrace single parenthood. Over on Instagram, Howard also shared a collage of a photo, featuring herself and Randi from 18 years ago and 2024. She wrote:

“18 years later and she’s leaving me. I will always believe that the Lord gave me Hollytree and Randi at a time in my life when I needed them. A job to provide for me and my girls, and a friend of mine who had walked the path I was heading down. A hard-working, divorced, single mom was just the friend and mentor I needed. The years, laughs, memories, ‘meetings,’ tears, life lessons, and even fights over the years will always hold a special place in my heart. Coming into work will never be the same, but I’m so excited for the next chapter for my girl.” 

And it surely made Randi Mahomes emotional. She even re-shared her post on her IG story, writing, “Love U! So blessed for our friendship.” However, the NFL Pro Bowler QB’s mom acknowledged crying excessively under the post.

After one of their colleagues commented, “Can I cry already?! 😘” emotional Randi answered, “Same 😢 all day.” 

Now moving on from a 20-year-long bond is really difficult. But Mahomes’ mother’s latest project announcement showcased her optimism towards her life, as she continues to leave her impact as an inspirational sports parent.
